Default 20/20 Interview

In 2001, the American television news program 20/20 broadcasted a 10-minute profile of Stevie Nicks. The interview footage was taped a few months prior, around the beginning of her TISL tour, June perhaps. There was some very interesting footage of backstage preparations and nervous pre-show butterflies, as I recall. Also, I remember footage of her walking onstage, from the wings, to the band's playing of Stop Draggin' My Heart Around*.
I had forgotten all about this interview, until just a few days ago. Then I tried to remember why I had forgotten it, since I remember it being very interesting - it was broadcast on Friday, September 7th, 2001, that's why. 4 days before the world changed.
If anyone has that interview, I'd love to see.

*I remember Stevie almost losing her footing as she trotted on stage with those silly sneakers of hers.

I remember that...it was a great segment, in fact. I wish I had it on tape.

I thought it was on Primetime Live rather than 20/20. The one I remember had Cynthia McFadden interviewing her. Is that the one? I remember it for saying that while in rehab for Klonopin, her hair turned grey and her skin molted. Memorable imagery.

Molted? Weird...

Sounds really interesting! (Not the molting, the rest of it)

Never mind. It was actually "20/20 Downtown", some spinoff of 20/20.

Hehe...thanks for posting! Good stuff...

Cynthia trips me out. She interviewed Liza Minnelli during her comback at the Palace in 1999 for "Minnelli on Minnelli"...and she did the EXACT same thing...went backstage with Liza RIGHT before she was to go on stage...and basically asked her the same kind of questions.

Two great things in the montage of old performance clips in part one:

1) doing her best drag queen imitation, strutting around with arms held up high
2) the samurai crouch
