Default I "found" Bobbye Hall.....

A while back I started a thread wondering if anyone knew what became of Bobbye Hall after the RAL Tour, and no one (that I recall) seemed to have any info. I had actually started to wonder if she passed away or something, especially with that surge of her personal items that were turning up on Ebay. Anyway, I am THOROUGHLY enjoying the new Dwight Yoakam album ("Blame The Vain"), and I noticed upon looking through the booklet that Bobbye is the percussionist on the album! (Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles is also a background vocalist, if anyone else cares.) I will be going to see Dwight in September, so I am excited to see if Miss Bobbye will be there.....

There aren't many country videos better than Dwight's "Intentional Heartache".

It was probably Wynnco that was selling it on Ebay, when I think about it.

Thanks for the update. I loved Bobbye also and always wondered what happened to her.

Me too!

In 1995, I endured a Greyhound bus ride from hell to south CA to meet him at a really cool in-store. Would I do it again? No. Was it worth it? Yes.

Did Bobbye vocalize bitterness toward Stevie after the RAL Tour that I am not aware of?

Default Finding Bobbye

I thought this was kind of cool that I had found this info out after this thread had been started, cause I did not realize how prominent Bobbye was in the R&R community.

I being a big Maria Muldaur fan, came to find that Bobbye was Percussion on Maria's "Heart Of Fire" & "Clean Up Woman." 1979. So, might I add were Russ Kunkle and Waddy, (although earlier on Maria's 1976 "Sweet Harmony".) What did Stevie do before going on the BD tour, just find another artist and borrow her complete band?? LOL
