Default Guitars (Turner)

We've all seen this Turner Lindsey uses but is it just me or does anyone else noticed a huge similarity?

The guitar is made by "Stagg" they make a wide variety of cheap guitars. This one will cost you £100, about $175 US Dollars.

Yeah his does cost a LOT more and probably sounds a hell of a lot better/different. Just thought they look very similar and that the Stagg model could be bassed on the Turner model thats all.

Other than the fact that they are both flat looking, electric/acoustics, I don't think they look very similar. I think the crappy one looks "nicer" in fact. Although it looks like it's trying too hard. The Lindsey one knows it's nice and doesn't feel the need to flaunt it. It's comfortable with its own niceness. A confident, secure guitar is very important.

100% correct. I wonder if a unsecure guitar would see Les Paul as it's therapist?

The Stagg model is an Ovation clone. The one Lindsey is holding is a completely different guitar sound-wise. The Stagg doesn't even sound like the model it's trying to emulate.

Actually....I saw, and touched one of those Turners this past weekend (turner RS6), it's incredibly light (like Balsa wood light, compared to a regular Turner model 1) and sounded fab. Cost...£1800.Don't Stagg also do a Fender copy as well? Theyre the sort of thing a first time buyer gets when they want their first electric guitar, they can also come with an amp, as a sort of package deal..cost, last time I looked about £250

Just been on the Ovation site and yeah its a copy of one of them. Very nice looking guitars.

Yeah Stagg make a load of Fender copies like the Strat, Tele, Jaguar they do Gibson's as well so my initial reaction when I walked into a music shop and saw one of those Stagg Ovation copies was it was modeled around a Turner. Which I thought was unusual as there not a popular guitar.
