Default The Wild Heart Dressing Room Demo...

Can someone please fill me in on the story of this? I have video and sound of it and it is enchanting, I love the backing and it's so different and raw and yet the vocal is amazing?

Where is Stevie when she is doing this? What tour is it on? And what is the whole context of the situation that allowed Stevie to be rehearsing a demo while assumingly prepping for a concert?

Cheers, any info will be helpful, I can also send people the audio if they don't have it and want it, but video I can't do sorry.

Cheers.

I believe it to be from the Rolling Stone photo shoot for Bella Donna. At least, it's included in the footage I have form that.

Do you mean the cover story "Out There With Stevie Nicks"? Was that done in New York with Annie Leibowitz? Where exactly (studio, soundstage)?

The Other Side of the Mirror British TV special I guess misidentified it back in 1989. They said it was backstage in a dressing room somewhere on the 1981 tour. But Johnny or somebody said, no it's from the photo shoot for the Stevie Nicks cover story that ran in early '82 in RS.

it's definitely from that photoshoot. the video that I have follows her the entire day and that scene is part of it. it is quite exquisite.

Yes. It's in Annie Liebowitz's studio in New York City. At one point they are listening to the radio and I believe the call letters start with a "W" so...

Let's get a date pinned down for this shoot, Chris.

Do we have a month? September 1981? October?

Is this the trip to New York on which she wrote "Sable on Blond"?

Did she stay in the Helmsley Palace? What am I recalling?

How freaking hot is she in this photo shoot. Not to mention all that great impromptu singing.
