Not that the other two aren't good, but Sinatra has always done subtle machismo and tenderness the best of them all. Whenever I want uplift, I put on A Swingin' Affair, whenever I feel like calming myself down and even shedding quiet tears along the way, I play Francis Albert Sinatra And Antonio Carlos Jobim.

I voted for Dean Martin. Not that Frank wasn't really the great, stylish, trend-setting vocalist that he was, but Dean was a quieter, more humble, & equally talented song stylist, with incisiveness & retenue.

Frank Sinatra. I love him, and so did my grandfather. Oh, and BTW, Phil Hartman DID influence my vote.

Well, if I'm being totally honest, I think I like Frank best as well. If nothing else, he's one of maybe two or three truly cool white people ever to exist. (And I'm not talking about the watered-down, it-can-mean-practically-anything "cool" that populates everybody's vernacular today. I mean cool.)

But. I've got a feeling Frank may run away with this one pretty quickly, so I'm throwing in my hat for Sammy. For Sammy, too, was pretty damn cool, and pretty damn swingin'.

And I mean, come on. Who did Joey and Uncle Jesse impersonate all the time when they wanted to tell each other how cool they thought the other one was? Was it Frank? Hell no. It was Sammy, baby.

And when Wayne went on his spirit quest in the desert to find out if he could truly make Waynestock a success, who was his spirit guide? Frank? No way, dude, it was f***ing Sammy. Frank couldn't have found his way through that desert with a GPS system.

Yeah I said it.

Calling Frank a crooner is like calling Stevie a singer. In both cases, the music is maybe 50% of why people ACTUALLY like them.

I had to go for Sinatra, because there wasn't Bing Crosby, my favourite.

This poll was cruel. I went with Frank though. I do love Dean Martin. He cracks me up. Has anyone seen Canonball Run with Dean and Sammy? They are freakin hilarious in that movie.

I'm going with Frank...but I honestly love them all!

I have the 1988/89 (can't remember right now) concert of "The Ultimate Event" tour with Frank, Sammy and Liza...(Liza replaced Dean after he could no longer go on) IT IS AMAZING!

The 1962 Judy Garland special with Frank and Dean is awesome as well.

The Rat Pack Live and Swingin DVD/CD is awesome. I don't know when it's from. It's old. LOL. Johnny Carson hosts it and it's in St. Louis. Great DVD!!!
