Default Pedals

Okay, I know this has been asked before, and I appologize for not remembering because I'm sure I've read it here before, but what are the pedals that Lindsey uses onstage? I think he mostly uses Boss pedals, right?... Can anyone tell me the model numbers? Thanks...!

hello friend.....from what I remember he uses the SD-1 (super overdrive---its yellow)......the DD-5 (digital delay).....and I think he uses some other footboard gear we dont know about. I have both pedals listed above as well as the CH-1 Chorus pedal that works really well.

Oh, mostly morning glories, poppies, roses, cruciforms, bouvardias, daffodils & chrysanthemums, with maybe just a sprucing of heather or snapdragon.

While, I have no idea but I figured that I would share a few photos that I took of his pedals. I took these before the 5/28/2004 Mansfield, MA show. Just ignore my bag in the bottom left corner of the second photo.

It's actually a DD-3, not a DD-5. I don't know why he has two of them though.

I've read in 2 different guitar mags, one of which was quoting Lindsey and another one his guitar tech where they said it was the DD5. If I'm wrong, I stand corrected. It doesnt make too much of a difference....the DD5 has a much longer delay time than the DD3...but I think the thickest delay Lindsey uses is probably on "Dreams" which the DD3 can produce.

Haha Pattie..even though your photos mean practically nothing to the ordinary listener (of which I am one!) , I'm sure to the guitarists here, theyr'e fabulous!! Good job on taking them. All those wires?...are they connected to each other or is there an end for the actual guitar somewhere..seems to me he's gotta step over a few to get to the pedals!

Those are nice wedges/floor monitors, too! With nice handles in the side!!

Remember when Stevie used to walk around onstage with a floor monitor on her head?

Didn't she lose it once while spinning? It was like a shotput (except, you know, not round) flying into the audience, and injuring a fan.
Those were the days.
Good times.

HA! David you are funny. Look at the pics posted about and you'll see what the pedals look like. Guitar effects pedals allow you to manipulate your sound by "tapping" them with your foot to "activate them." So for example...When Lindsey is playing "Go Your Own Way" at the end of the song for the solo he kicks on his "overdrive" pedal to give it more "push" for the ending. He also uses a delay pedal quite often, which can be heard on "Dreams", and "You Make Loving Fun" especially. Was that too technical for you?
