I wasn't sure if he was still alive or not .I remember laughing so hard I could barely sit up when reading his reviews of Barbra Streisand films ,some of the most vitriolic I have ever seen from a major film critic .I'm not a big fan of Babs acting ,but he was over the top and off the hook. He also called Liza Minelli a perfect menage et trois of no looks .speaking voice or acting ability.Always an entertaining and interesting read.

I hate it when NPR covers the Tennessee Williams Society function on the following Sunday morning. Nothing worse than having a nice, deep sleep interrupted by shouts of "STELLA, STELLA."
