Default What Couplet Encompasses Your Philosophy?

Which couplet from a song encompasses everything you could say in a nutshell about life?

Mine is from "Under Pressure":

It's the terror of knowing what this world is about
Watching some good friends scream, "Let me out!"

I have two (oddly, the popular versions of both songs feature harmony vocals from David Crosby, who's not necessarily a favorite):

To everything...there is a season -Turn! Turn! Turn!

Fear is the lock and laughter the key to your heart -Suite: Judy Blue Eyes

From "Youth Nabbed As Sniper":

Fear causes some to live
Others die real cool

Couplets usually rhyme, honey.

I don't really have any. I'm more of a quatrain kinda guy.

If you're not a South Park fan, it's still worth it for the slamming they give to those crraaazzy mo-fos.

Here's the schedule

http://www.comedycentral.com/tv_sche...seriesId=11600

Even if you can't handle their base humor, it's nice just to see the brutally frank commentary on those idiot scientologists.

I am always a dick. A couplet is usually two successive lines, not one.

Is it the episode called "Trapped In the Closet"? I'm always up for Scientology bashing. Those crazy crackers.

Im not sure this encompasses my philosophy, but I think it a very clever lyric:
Quote:
You consider me the young apprentice
Caught between the Scylla and Charybdis
and this for a finish, sublime!
Quote:
I will turn your face to alabaster
Then you'll find your servant is your master

Love is a word...some entertain it
If you find it...you have won the game
