Default Funny Stevie Moments

I thought it'd be cool to start a thread where you can post some of your funniest Stevie moments, either that took place in person or something that struck you as funny during an interview, video, etc. Here are some of mine:

1. At the FM San Diego show 2003: This drunk dude climbed up on stage during Beautiful Child, got between Lindsey and Stevie, put his arm around each of them and began swaying to the music back and forth. Stevie had her eyes closed at first, but then she opened them and boy did they get BIG! By then, which seemed like forever, security finally ran over to the guy and escorted him off. Lindsey just kind of looked like, what the heck was that?? They finished the song, and afterward Stevie said that at first she thought it was a ghost, and to not worry because he had a very gentle touch, and laughed.
2. The Sandra Bernhardt interview: Sandra gets Stevie a gift. Stevie opens it, and it's a mirror but it is turned mirror-side out in the box when she first looks at it. Sandra quickly quips, "Look Stevie- it's the "other side of the mirror"! That cracks me up everytime I see it.
3. The I Can't Wait video: The Solid Gold dance steps in this video crack me up.
4. The Destiny Rules documentary: Not really sure why this is funny to me, but one of Stevie's dogs is up on the kitchen counter in the singing fish scene and she is smelling a rotisserie chicken.

Default Destiny Rules Scenes

Ok, funniest moment is when Stevie walks in with the spirit catcher and everyone is just looking at her! Then she says, it's a great piece from my house in Phoenix or something and they're like, put it up there!

Other moments that kinda make me giggle include:
-Red Rocks Edge of Seventeen... when she does the yell near the end, aahababahaalalhahdhfhabbababahadhnbfbahahbfbahahahaaahahah.
-Running in late for Gypsy in the Mirage DVD.
-Also in the Mirage DVD, although not Stevie's fault, is the wacky closed captioning. Instead of "your life knows no answer" it's "your life is gold and silver"!!! make me laugh!

Oh God, the part two and a half minutes in where all five of them have simultaneous seizures cracks me up. All Brad Jeffries idea, no doubt. What a path of destruction he has laid in her videos.

I love the part in one of her David Letterman interviews where she makes an unintentional funny. They are talking about touring.

Quote:
David Letterman: Now, are you gonna go overseas?

Stevie Nicks: Um, yes. Absolutely.

David Letterman: Wow. And, eh, you don't get tired of that stuff?

Stevie Nicks: I haven't really been to Europe in a long time. So, I'm kinda looking forward to it.

David Letterman: And will the crowds be crazy for you when you go over there?

Stevie Nicks: I have no idea. But you have to go there. [Being very sincere here and you think she is going to say something profound]

David Letterman: Yeah.

Stevie Nicks: To make them crazy about you.

David Letterman: I see. (audience laughs)

Stevie Nicks: If you don't go they don't like you. So, I'm goin. (Dave laughs)

David Letterman: Well, good, that makes perfect sense.(audience applauds and Stevie smiles.)

Of course she never went overseas afterall. You can't trust a thing she says. Read the whole interview here.

one of my favorites is on the Leno show when Jay is asking Stevie random questions and he says something like:

J: at the grocery store, do you prefer paper or plastic?
S: both

and then goes on to talk and it is clear Stevie's thinking cash vs. card...

With that in mind, on the Mirage video...during 'Sisters of The Moon' where she begins to speak in tongues, the closed captioning says: "unintelligable lyrics."

When she sang with Bob Welch at Cal Jam and she is having fun dancing and forgets to come in on the chorus. She's like, "Oh ****, oops!"

Hmm, I totally understand "both." I like put a paper bag inside of a plastic bag. Then again, I'm sure she just didn't understand what he meant. The last time she went grocery shopping was probably pre-"paper or plastic."

She does it in the Red Rocks video too! She is notorious for having so much fun bouncing around the stage that she forgets to sing at the microphone.

1979 Jim Ladd Innerview -- "Gabrielle ... really ... go catch a fever."

1981 Jim Ladd Innerview -- Stevie: "I mean, do you wanna know what The Highwayman is _about_?" Jim: "No, Stevie, I'd rather talk about baseball."

1987 Tango Listening Party, Florida -- Billy: "I started out in life as a small child ..." Stevie: "Hehhehheheaahaaa!!"

1980 Off The Record -- "Well, I like to watch [what's happening onstage] sometimes, from the side ... But they don't really like us to stand around & watch. So we have these tents, right? these Baghdad tents that we're supposed to hang out in ... the world goes on in these tents, right? ... & sometimes we start talking [laughs] ... & we start talking so loud that you can hear us! [laughs] Courage runs over & says, 'SHH!! They can hear you onstage!' [laughs]"
