I know there was a post where it was rumoured she had covered it, but now MTV online has just confirmed it, heres the link:

Oh My god, this cannot be true. Shame on that twit. I bet her management told her she could have a hit like Destinys Child. I mean , how big of a fan is this girl, is she a fan at all?? I never heard her say she liked Stevie in the least. I think I am going to be sick now. I realize Stevie will get her publishing royalties, but this I justcannot get over. Shocked

Maybe Jessica approves. This is her age group music?

Well....I hope that Stevie makes MILLIONS in royalties....and as for Miss Lohan.... I have a feeling she will get what she has coming to her for doing something so foolish.

On positive side...if this allows some 15-16 year old girls who do not know who Stevie is get the chance to be exposed to her and really find a rock goddess to be a fan of then maybe alls well that ends well.

I don't care for Lohan, but I am glad her generation is embracing this kind of music. I am glad anytime stevie gets more exposure for her brilliant career

I think Stevie has enough fans, really. That doesn't mean it hurts to have more, but if this is how they are to be gotten then I am adamantly against it. If it were me (which it obviously isn't but I'll offer my opinion anyway), I would be happier to have a fewer fans by comparison and not have Hohan doing one of my signature songs that can be mine only. Hell, I'd rather fade into obscurity than have Hohan cover my songs.

At the very least Stevie will get more exposure outta this and more money. And if Lohan sucks - it'll just make Stevie look better than all these singing skanks coming outta the woodwork.

Thank GOD she got to it before Paris Hilton did. They'd NEVER get her stink off of that song.
