Thumbs up I'm like a kid in a candy store!

OMG, this is great! I've never had an MP3 player before. I just bought an Apple iPod 30GB Video. I haven't even got to anything but the music part of it. I can't believe all the songs that iTunes has. I couldn't decide what to get. I just wanted to get one song that I didn't have on any CD. I don't have all of Fleetwood Mac's or Stevie's CDs. The very first song I downloaded was "Rooms on Fire". This is great. I'm going to go broke buying songs! After a rough start with this iPod, I'm hooked!

Cool. Glad you love it. I said this in another thread, but I will say it again:
I need to find a way to have my iPod permanently attached to my body.

lol - you and me both.

to Mac users...you need to download Acquisition. it has lots of great rare stuff on it and videos...obviously, I'm not saying download things you can legally buy, but it has lots of audio from award shows, etc.

Jason! Acquisition is the snap...been using it for a 2 years. But I get a little irritated that it is shareware. Sheesh...I use it cause I want things for free. What's even more hilarious is using Acquisition to find a serial number for it. Haha.

I'm getting ready to upgrade my PowerBook. I'll be getting the 17" PowerBook. I always scramble for a wee-bit more screen space. Plus I've had this 15" for 4 years. Time to expand my experience.

Sounds like I need to follow your lead. I'm always slow to adapt to technology.

I love Acquisition. I thought about getting a PowerBook, but ended up getting a nice Windows-based laptop. So, I have my iMac G5 and a laptop. Eventually, I will move everything over to the laptop.

I can't live without my iPod iVana. I just upgraded to the 60G and am loving it. iVana goes everywhere I go.

This is the new iPod you can download shows on, correct? Let me know when you do because i'm really curious to see how it works. Also, are you using iTunes still (even with the video?) or is it something different?

this part of iTunes pissed me off. You used to be able to view lots of different music videos for free...although it was rarely updated. Now, they have all the music videos you can think of and update all the time, but now it costs...what the fug...I was/am pissed

Remember, Apple is trying to save the music industry. Video Singles are better than just a single now. Welcome to the progression of technology and hyper-consumerism.
