Stevie's Trip to Chile
I was always intrigued (please forgive the Gallicism) by Stevie's trip to Chile in 1979, about which there is so little information.
She mentioned it once that I remember: on the 1981 NBC Source radio special hosted by Denny Somack. She said that she was burned out after recording "Tusk," & went to Chile for a month afterward to try to regain strength & vitality & a new outlook. Apparently, the song "Bella Donna" came out of that experience. Let's hear more about her Chile trip, lurkers!
