Default Backstage - Blossom Music Center 7.22.83

I'm on a PhotoBucket kick -- please forgive me. A guy named Pete Haas took these photos backstage at Blossom at the July 22, 1983, show in Cleveland. I think Pete even showed up at one of the FM conventions in the early '90s. I sort of wonder what ever happened to him. I even heard at one point that he died. I hope not -- he was a nice guy.

Wow, these are great David!

She looks kind of pissed though, don't you think? Isn't this one of the few WH shows that there are actually a video recording of? A very poor one at that.

Please keep posting these great pictures! I love them.

Default Pete Haas

Pete was a good friend of mine for many years, and literally gave me hundreds of fantastic Stevie photos. Last time I saw him was at the Stevie Columbus show in 1996, he was the one who got the front row ticket because someone had come to see Cher, and she didn't show, so the lady sold her front row to Pete. He GAVE it to me, because he was there mainly to audio tape the show (as he did for so many shows), and he said she would rather "see me" (I was all dressed up) in the front row, than him, I couldn't believe it. He was a WONDERFUL person, giving, and kind, and funny. He has passed away, and it was so very very sad. He was sick for a very long time, but always managed to keep up with his Stevie shows, conventions and just being a REAL FRIEND.
I miss him so very much.
I am lucky to have known him for the years I did, and meet him in person to chat and hang out, a handful of times.

Thank you for sharing this story about Pete. He was a kind and gentle person who I met at Night of a thousand Stevies and sent me some beautiful pictures he shot of me and my friends there. I had wondering what happened to him and found this thread. RIP

To those wondering about Pete, he was my friend Debbie who lives in Cleveland best friend. I met him at the millenium show. He and Debbie traveled together. He had Krohn's disease and unfortunately died back in 2001.
