Default Band Face Off - Round 11

His name is Prince and he is FUNKY!!! Yes, the Purple One beat Mr Hendrix and, obviously, Mr Kravitz, 20 votes to Jimi's unlucky 13 and Lenny's pitiful 2 votes.

Round 11 is all about girl power. Oh yes. Who will you choose?

The results so far:
Round 1: Petty defeats Springsteen - 35 to 17
Round 2: Led Zeppelin defeats The Who - 22 to 18
Round 3: Madonna defeats Sheryl Crow/Kate Bush - 24 to 12/10
Round 4: The Beatles defeat Rolling Stones/U2 - 22 to 15/13
Round 5: Guns N Roses defeat Bon Jovi/Metallica - 17 to 13/12
Round 6: Heart defeat Blondie/The Pretenders - 23 to 14/6
Round 7: The Beach Boys defeat The Kinks/The Byrds - 22 to 10/9
Round 8: Elvis Presley defeats Johnny Cash/Roy Orbison - 18 to 17/6
Round 9: Abba defeats The Carpenters - 24 to 14
Round 10: Prince defeats Jimi Hendrix/Lenny Kravitz - 20 to 13/2

**NEWS FLASH: Elvis has overtaken Johnny Cash, 18 to 17!**

The polls are still open, vote now!

Gah. I don't know how to choose between Garbage and Hole. I love Courtney, but Shirley Manson is just hot ****.

Exclamation Hmmm...

that's a tough one...I voted for none of 'em, Since I'm not familiar with their type of music (Courtney Love=Over-rated!)

No Doubt.

They were better in their earlier years. I don't listen to them much anymore.

I would have to go with No Doubt (Gwen isnt bad looking whatsoever, Just not my type of woman.)

Here is my type of woman:

Cristina Scabbia (Singer of Lacuna Coil)

Garbage, they're one of the few bands that bring fresh air into music nowadays.

Shirley, baby. She has a sexuality to her that the other two only wish they had.

Shirley is still sexy, though. uh...but I don't usually like her eye makeup.
Gwen is too, I don't know, childish. She's pushing forty and looks like a fool more often than not to me, especially bouncing around and singing "Hollaback Girl." Shirley is more adult; her voice is more expressive, there's a raw vibe to her that says she isn't putting on a show, and when she stands at the microphone and sings "Queer," I melt. Homegirl is so sexy.

Wink

I never cared for Hole so they get 3rd place. Garbage is a distant 2nd from my pick, No Doubt. Gwen Stefani is just too much...whew...hot stuff. AND, she releases some pretty catchy tunes.

I haven't listened to Garbage since the first record, but almost wore it out, I loved it so much. Hmm, maybe I did wear it out, and that is why I haven't listened since.

I totally just put that record in my stereo, too. Not a bad song on it.

Hole.

Garbage first album is great too, but a little too much design-alternative for me. Hole made two good rock-in-the-face-albums.

No doubt is pudding-pop. faceless radio**** im my opnion.
