Default Stevie Nicks caught cheating...

...on her doggies!

Nicks takes her licks

Singer Stevie Nicks meets Belle, a 2-month-old dog rescued from the Gulf hurricane region, and offered for adoption by Long Island's North Shore Animal League, after her performance on the NBC-TV Today show. Nicks appeared in support of the Hurricane Katrina Project, a joint effort with with NBC, Warner Bros. Music and Habitat For Humanity.

thanks for posting - it's much clearer and crisp than the other one.

has anyone given thought to her necklace. It looks like she's slid on the moon, but what's the other thing?

It's a Celtic quad knot.

Here is the meaning of the Celtic Love Knot...I think it is the same thing...

Each section of this quad Celtic knot cross holds a different meaning of love. “Love leads man and woman, one through the other, to a higher consciousness, to a deeper possession of their being."

Interesting.

I like the bling on her finger too. Gorgeous.

Technically there aren't specific meanings for certain kinds of knots, just ones we've attributed to them in pretty recent history. (With the exception of knots that include animals, since they have their own symbolism). In general, the closed path of knots symbolizes eternity and the interconnectedness of life. Maze patterns are supposed to signify the journey through life and overcoming challenges, blah blah. Triangular knots are usually used to represent the trinity, but more because of the shape than the knot design itself. Any knot that joins two separate paths can be said to be a "lover's knot," etc. For a quad pattern there's no inherent meaning, but if you come across the design in a store it's likely to say it symbolizes some combination of four things, like love, prosperity, health, good fortune, and gives the wearer protection or good luck in attaining those things.

Right on Tiffany! Now I have to go get one!
BTW, how on EARTH did you manage to figure out that's what it was? I mean, I have 20/15 vision and I couldn't tell, but then again I'm not familiar with the design either.

I knew too. I can see it a bit, and filled in the rest because I've seen those pendants before. Oh, I have 20/15, too...

I used to have a very similar necklace up until I lost it on vacation a few years ago . I noticed she had something else on there this summer, but I could only see a little corner of it because it was always covered by her moon. Now that I think about it, I saw it at the benefit reception (and it's kinda visible in our photo)... but I guess it just didn't register at the time. Then Riss pointed it out today and I recognized the shape.

Let me know if you find one! I'd kinda like to replace mine too
