Default TV shows you just didn't get into

What shows that were popular, you just couldn't/ didn't get into?

Due to my work schedule at the time I never got into (maybe in reruns I can see them and "get it"):

Seinfeld
X-files
Friends
CSI

Shows I just didn't get into:

Beverley Hillbillies
Giligans Island
Green Acres
Melrose Place
90210
Dynasty

I am not saying the weren't good, just never got into them.

Now these, I just dislike:

Any Reality show (can we say scripted?)
Any Dating type show (5th wheel..etc) although the 60's dating game was okay
Pimp my ride, cribs, -any hiphop type stuff
soap operas
most talk shows

Okay flame away! which ones are you not partial too?

I dont get into most TV shows because I dont watch TV, but in the days when I did, I refused to watch Seinfeld when it was popular because everyone else was watching it, and Im not a lemming.

But: I learned why it was so popular when it went into reruns. And Northern Exposure, what a great show I also missed! those shows with quirky offbeat characters are priceless and those are two of the best that I can think of...
sometimes I guess Im too stubborn for my own good

by the way is the "Jamie O Neal" in your sig a newspaper columnist? Because he lives in my neck of the woods if its the same guy...teaches English at a local community college and inflames all the hardcore conservatives with his liberal column...(I love it!) if it isnt the same guy, nevermind

Nope. Jamie O'neal is a country singer. Fantastic voice and very down to earth. Definately NOT a guy:

I never got into Seinfeld either.

I still haven't gotten into Desperate Housewives. I keep meaning to watch it, but just haven't found the time yet.

I have never watched "Sex in the city" or "Desperate Housewives". The one I started watching and really like is the new "Battlestar Galatica".

Everyone at work keeps bugging me to watch Desperate Housewives..... I figured I wouldn't be able to understand what was going on though if I started watching it now..... I've never watched that Big Brother show either--my MIL has watched every one of them and LOVES it! Can't really think of any others off the top of my head right now.....

OMG..I LOVE sex and the city. I didn't start watching it until it was on TBS tho. so we were like in the 3rd season and I had my friend start watching it with me. We just decided to go and buy all the seasons and watch them from the beginning. My fav show of all time-no doubt about it. the only thing I don't like is the name just because it was hard going to work telling my patients.."omg..did you see SEX and the city last night?" - wouldn't go over too well w/ the boss man

I hardly ever watch TV anymore, but when I did I didn't pay much attention to what other people watched. I never gave a damn about 90210, Seinfeld, Desperate Housewives, Nip/Tuck, Survivor, American Idol, or the like. I do admit to watching Friends for a season or two, but lost interest rather quickly.

It still amazes me that people cannot like Seinfeld. I think all the characters are so well developed and unique. The dialogue and the stories are so well written. My father hated Seinfeld when I got into it back in '95. Then he started watching it because of Kramer, and then eventually he got hooked. I think he just didnt understand the show...particularly because Jerry isn't all that funny it's his interaction with all of his bizarre friends. And George's parents!? ALWAYS hilarious.

Sopranos (never saw it) don't have HBO

Reality shows- not real
Idol shows- not my idols
House re-decorating/swapping-who really cares??
Info- mercials on make-up-yoga-exercise macines-juice, cookware, make a million,
....WHATEVER they are selling , I just .....

God/Preachers on TV-whatever faith is being sold...
click, next station

Come to think of it...there really isn't much I am watching
