Default Band Face Off - Round 3

It was a close call, but in the end those giants of rock, Plant, Page, Bonzo and Jones, beat out the powerful foursome of Daltrey, Townshend, Entwistle and Moon. There was only two votes in it though, with Led Zep winning 20 to 18.

The results so far:

Round 1: Petty defeats Springsteen - 31 to 17
Round 2: Led Zeppelin defeats The Who - 20 to 18

But as ever, the polls are still open, so things could still change.

Onto the next round and this time it's the battle of the pop babes.

Who is your favourite? Once again don't forget to defend your choice!

Madonna

I don't like Sheryl Crow and don't even own anything from Kate Bush.

So, Madge it is. I've always liked the broad.

Strike A Pose!

That line alone puts Madonna on top.

Yuck. What slim pickins. I had to pick the best of the worst. Never could stand that Italian leo noise. Kate Bush frightens me. And well, had to go with the Crow. At least I love 1 album by her...her self titled second album. Ahhh...Sweet Rosalyn.

These are like apples and oranges!

While I do love me some Sheryl Crow, I had to go with Madonna.

That's my favorite Crow album, too.

Redemption Day, Sweet Rosalyn, Oh Marie, Love Is A Good Thing, A Change; so many fantastic songs.

I voted for Madonna because she pushed the envelope with wild success just about every time.

Kate B. is a very close second - I love her and her quirky talent knows no limit.

YAWN on all 3 for me. Although I don;t know enough about Kate Bush so maybe I should leave her exempt from that list for now.

We have delicious taste.

I actually have all her albums (except the new one), but have always held this album in high regard. Brilliant from start to finish. Picked up a import in Portugal of it with bonus tracks too.

You are kidding me, right? I thought I presented a diverse choice here. Each is utterly brilliant in their own way, if you ask me.

This is only one round out of many. All anyone has to do is choose their favourites out of those presented, not their all-time fave

Well, I may not like any of the artists that you presented in this round, but that doesnt mean I would critisize you for liking them. It's all in each persons opinion I guess. I like what you're doing though. Its been fun

That's not the point. All people have to do is click on who they think is the best out of three choices. I don't expect every person to like every artist presented. These artists have all been discussed on The Ledge too, therefore relevant I thought.
Even if people hated all three, I thought people would have a preference to which is the best.
