Ho. Lee. Sheet! What a lineup! The duet possibilities are endless! Stevie and Rod Stewart doing "Stand Back?" Stevie and Bette doing "Wind Beneath My Wings?" Stevie and Earth, Wind & Fire doing "Shining Star?"

Wow. I hope this is on TV!!'

Edit: Loggins and Messina???? Whenever I Call You Friend? Could she? Would she? Willie Nelson is currently putting together a concert here for Sept. 21st, and is trying to get the Neville Bros. for that also.

Highly likely, since they will be trying to raise money for the victims of Katrina.

I'm voting for a duet with John Fogerty. That would be cool.

me, too! I've wanted that since I heard a deejay name them the two most unintelligible singers in rock! Love the Fogerty.

Boston's Progressive Talk keeps on playing Fortunate Son. Who would have thought this country would repeat a senseless war like Vietnam and this song would again become current.

Those two would sound great together. Also, isn't Stevie friends with Bette? If I saw them both on the same stage I'd be trippin'!

I'm glad Stevie is joining others to try to raise money...because money is definetely what's needed...I hope this is on tv too..

this is awesome - I hope it's televised and that Stevie rocks it OUT! Please oh god let Stevie be in great voice and spirit and kill whatever she decides to sing!

Dreammms · #9 09-07-2005, 09:32 PM

thanks for the info.

does anybody know when the tickets go on sale?

Johnny Stew · #10 09-07-2005, 09:39 PM

Stevie never ceases to impress me. I'm happy she's doing this, and proud of the fact that she's returning to the stage to help raise money for the Hurricane relief efforts.

Yes, I realize that it's been a month since Mr. Nicks passed away, and most people have to return to work within days of losing a parent. But Stevie has the luxury to not perform for a while and to take her time grieving, so she could have easily written a check and just stayed home.

preach on it girl!

I'd like to see maybe Beautiful Child or Nightbird with Lori or Sleeping Angel or something...I hope she doesn't do the standard song set of Dreams, Rhiannon, GDW, Stand Back

but, who am I really kidding, I'm just glad she is doing it and am honored to be a Stevie fan!

SapphireSister · #15 09-07-2005, 10:15 PM

I'm sure she's going to do something everyone and their grandmother has heard. It's not like it's a Stevie audience and she can get away with anything. I really think she will play something signature Stevie that most people are familiar with.
