Stevie in Melbourne?

Has anybody heard anything more about Stevie performing and/or recording with the Mebourne Symphony in Australia and when this is supposed to happen?

i thought i heard January... but nothing has been confirmed.. personally i think that was just more talk from Ms. Nicks than anything else.. and after recent events, i doubt it will ever happen..

Unfortunatley, I think after her Dad died, not to mention the disaster in New Orleans, everything was probably shelved indefinately.

Don't panic - if she's going to put in an appearance at the Madison Square concert later this month, I'm thinking she will resume work pretty soon. Besides, you don't make arrangements with an orchestra and then cancel - that would not be cool.... best thing Stevie can do is get back to work.

Agreed. That's exactly what I always thought about this alleged Australia thing. Stevie seems to sometimes get ideas in her head and gets excited about it and blurts them out. Gotta love her though.

Taku's website is probably the best website for true and current Stevie info.

At the last show in Vegas, Brett Tuggle told me that he was excited about Australia, for what that's worth.

I believe it's just takuhirano.com, but search it to make sure. He just tends to put stuff up quicker than anywhere else where Stevie is concerned (if he is playing with her of course)
