I was watching this clown as I happened to pass by one of the religious channels, and I really need to know what the deal is with this Charlatan. I just dont get how people fall for this guy..

I think he is a bit strange too. Then again, I've not been to any of his "live" shows. But I will agree, it does seem staged to me...and he seems insincere as do most of the people on TBN.

You watch this stuff? I've programmed my remote to skip the religion only channels(except the one that shows Green Acres and Gilligan's Island!).
I have an aversion to religion(shudder).

I'm not a fan of the church channels, but I've got to say that some of it can be hilarious in an altered state, especially anything with the Bill Gaither crew. They're so overly animated.

My mom and I when I'd be over there on Sunday morning would sometimes watch this guy on NBC, and we'd make fun of him for the entire 2 hours he was on. Good quality time with mom

I agree! I love to watch TBN for laughs. Usually, I can only take it for so long, though. I can never watch a show in its entirety, but there's some pretty funny stuff. Marilyn Hickey and her daughter drive me nuts.
