Default For fans of The Amazing Race

Tomorrow CBS This Morning is going to have a segment introducing the teams for this coming season. Not sure what time that particular segment will air, but the show is on from 7am - 10am.

I'm a huge fan, I was addicted to last season! Hopefully, this season will be just as exciting. I actually want to be on the show... I think I'd do OK... as long as I don't have to eat something gross.

Thanks for the heads up, Paula!

Has anyone been watching the A.R. reruns on GSN?
I didn't start watching it on CBS until the last episode of Season 3 (which is running now on GSN, and I think will wrap up either tonight or tomorrow night), and I enjoyed it so much I made it a point to watch Season 4 from the beginning.

Anyway, it's been really cool catching up on the seasons I had missed. And I LOVE that it's on every night... waiting from week to week can be killer sometimes.

But the downside is that I'm going to be so spoiled when the newest season begins on CBS.

Reichen's episodes will begin around Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. Season Four.

I rooted for him and Chip every step of the way. Was nice to have a cool gay couple to cheer on. Too bad his dreams of fame eventually got in the way of his relationship.

I couldn't stand him and Chip. They were as annoying as Adam ("I want my mommy!") and Rebecca.

I posted a hilarious article about Reichen soliciting some guy on MySpace, did you ever read it? So damned funny! And I loved the pics Perez used to post of him in his bathing suits. He was airbrushed within an inch of his life, but he's still got a pretty face.

I love the Amazing Race!!!!!!

I watch it every season. I'm hooked!

I've always wanted to be on the show, too. They've never had Team Chiffonhead before? Can you see me and my teammate playing tambo for the orphans, running to the pitstop singing Stand Back, and wearing nothing but black? I'm a shoe-in!

^ OOOH! I'll be your teammate! Unless, of course, you have someone else in mind...

I watched this morning from 7:45am until about 9am & didn't see anything - it's done at 9, not 10 like I had previously posted. Maybe it was on really early, while I was still in bed refusing to get up.

BTW, Johnny Stew - I keep trying to catch reruns on GSN, but I always tune in at the middle of the race & have no clue what's going on. How do I know when another season starts on GSN so I can start watching it from the beginning? I just started watching the Race this past season & I'd love to catch old eps.

Thumbs down

It's Family AR this year. 10, 4 member teams. This season might suck. I don't want to hear whiney kids.

GSN's site really isn't much help... their schedule is pretty basic and doesn't give you a description of the episodes or which season they're from.

But tonight will be the two-hour finale of Season Three, and then the two-hour opener for Season Four will air on Wednesday at 9pm and 12Midnight.

It runs 7 days a week, so they've been flying through the seasons pretty quickly.

Thanks for the info. I'll try to start watching tonight.

Curtis - I think this season could be really good. I think the kids had to be at least 12 (or was it 16?) Either way, I assume they can't be that bad if they're going to Race.

BTW - Found out yesterday where the final pitstop will be - do you guys know? Do you care to know?

I LOVE AR!!! I play the AR fantasy game on realiiity.com. It's fun and makes the show even better - you pick teams and answer questions and get points... If enough people here are interested, maybe we can form our own league - I like Curtis' name - Chiffonheads!

Yes, tell us where the final pit stop is! Spoiler info helps to get more points!!

OOOH! That sounds fun! I'll do it!

SPOIER! Here's where the final pitstop is:

Niagara Falls (can't remember if it's US or Canada, though.)

Thanks Johnny - I was able to catch the start of season 5 (?) last night on GSN. I already despise the models. Not sure about the NFL wives either. Please, no one tell me how this race ends. Thanks.

I must say I chuckle every time I see the caption for the young couple: "dating 12 years/virgins"

The models were extremely annoying.
I think you'll come to like the NFL Wives. I wasn't sure about them at first either, but after the first couple legs, I started to like them.

Ah, Chuck & Millie.
I wonder if Chuckie's gotten any yet! He was a cutey.
