Unhappy Did you feel something would happen?

Hmmm i haven't been here for a while but think i will share a little too.

I had a feeling for well over a month yet not as much over the last week or so that something was going to happen.

Now im certainly not one for all that kooky weird stuff, nor do i believe in visions etc.

Now i know its not a good thing to say so please dont get upset with me for this. But for a time as mentioned above, every time i've logged onto the nicksfix website i had this feeling that in that middle main news spot it would say that her mum had died. When the page appeared I would look quickly with this strange unshakable feeling that i would see the words... Now I dont even know how old her mum is. Probably 2 weeks ago if that, i told myself that it was just in my head and felt pretty bad for thinking such thoughts. Its only now approx 1hour ago that i went to nicksfix and discovered the news of her fathers passing. Now as mentioned i do not believe as of yet in that weird kooky stuff, but it does make me think!

Just sharing.

Oh and while im venting, i was surprised also with stevies letter on her website.

I think many of us, once we read the letter she wrote to/about Peter Jennings passing started getting a feeling her dad might pass.

Yeah I felt that too. They posted that two days before he died. When I read it I said to myself "He's gonna go" but I didn't expect it to be quite so soon.

Default "Even in the back of your mind"

I'm just guessing but -

as Stevie knows, the subconscious mind is a complex thing.

This is just opinion but, believe it or not, Stevie dropped numerous

hints that this was on the way. For example, her statement in a

recent interview that her next solo album may end up being delayed.

(And please let's not get sidetracked with that whole discussion in

this thread.)

There were also perhaps many other indications, for example how

emotional she reportedly became during "Landslide" in Vegas -

but more especially, the fact that she didn't dedicate "Landslide"

to him even once, during the whole tour, until then. I started to

suspect something was up then, because it seemed to me that the

only possible explanation could be that she was not able to - because

she knew that it would be too much for her and that she might not

get through it.

Anyway, I'm just guessing, but maybe in the back of your mind,

you had taken some of these "indications" and kind of put two and two

together.

if i had known these things than yes, you see im from over here in aus, and i haven' read any of the fan reviews on nicksfix or anywhere so i didn't know about the landslide dedications etc. I also didn't know she had confirmed about doing another album let alone it would be delayed... (im rapped she has said she is doing one though) I didn't know any of her family members were ill... i dont really know much, and i dont have any sort of extra sense whatsoever, just a fear i felt when i hit enter after typing in www.nicksfix.com

I didn't even know her father had heart problems up until a couple of days ago, but after reading about his leg surgery, I had a sinking feeling. I don't know if it was a premonition, but it definitely felt like something in the near future was going to happen.

OH well then that was just simply the weird psychic connection

that all Stevie fans have with this remarkable person!

Simplest explanation, and all that???

Anyway, don't know what to say -

I guess it's Officially "One of those things."

"My mind won't rest
and I don't sleep
Not even in my dreams"
