Discovery has returned safely

I've been watching the landing on Nasa tv via internet and everything went smooth.
Due to the weather they had to land at Edwards Airforce Base in California. So anyone near there had a nice wakeup call, two sonic booms.

All I can say now is: Welcome back.

Good to hear it all went well...I am guessing it has all been very tense and it is a great relief.

Good to hear - I spoke to a NASA expert yesterday - he said this was a really nervous and tense landing due to what happened to Columbia.

I'm so glad that they made it back safely.

will be emailing me pictures that she took this morning as she watched the shuttle land at Edwards (Her husband works at Edwards and he possibly knows a few of the astronauts on this just completed mission.)
