Default Final Episode of Queer As Folk

What did you guys think?

I am going to miss this show so much. I thought the final episode was rather boring and did not end at all like I wanted it to. Ted amd Emmett should've ended up together; that Blake guy, yuck! And why oh why couldn't Brian move his ad agency to New York or say screw this and go with Justin. I also didn't like how they gave the ending spotlight to Brian. In my mind they would've all walked out of Babylon together laughing and having a good time just the way real friends do...oh well...

Weeds looks like it's going to be really good tho.

Yes, it was pretty boring and anti-climatic. I did watch it after Nate's funeral on Six Feet Under so it was a tough act to follow. The end with Brian dancing was just cheesy. "The thumpa thumpa will go on"

Weeds looks pretty good. I love Mary Louise Parker.

I did the same thing. SFU is so amazing. I love Brenda. It kills me how that show is so full of stuff to think about and go "ah" and poor quaf can't manage anything other than sex scenes they did 2 seasons ago. It was a total waste to end it the way they did.

And I agree, Weeds will be my new show.

I don't know what I will do on Sunday nights without these shows though. I don't really watch any other shows regularly. I really look forward to my Sunday night tv.

The finale left a lot to be desired. First of all, like you said, Ted and Emmet should have ended up together. I was sure it was going to happen but then Blake showed up! Also, I was really mad that Brian and Justin called off the wedding. Why couldn't there have been a happy ending? Things pretty much just stayed the same. I expected a final goodbye scene with the whole cast, but it was just Brian. Michael narrating the show was really distracting. The girls moving to Canada was very anti-climatic. It was not very dramatic or sad, it just kind of happened.

I haven't been able to keep up with the show, but it sounds like the last ep left alot to be desired.

Oh well The first season was really good ( the only one I really watched)

They're finally ending that stinker? I haven't watched it since the first season which nearly made me barf every time i watched it. Under developed characters. Terrible acting. The Brits got it right. Watch that one if you wanna see some good TV.

I need to put my hands on that. I'm interested to see it. Is is just the British version with the same/similar storyline or is completely different?

The first season of the US version followed the British storyline. After that, the US version went its own way.

The first and second seasons of the US version weren't horrible- it was what it was for its time. The British version is much, much better. After the second season the US version became ridiculous and unwatchable. Cringeworthy.
