The much anticipated- Vegas meet and greet review!!!

Ok all...here is the 411...I'm sure you all have been dying to get the scoup...oh...where to start...i guess the begining would be great...

Well, when the time had come to get to the stage for the rush, I rushed like the mutha f'ing wind...um kay?...i was pressed right up against it...then to my dismay, I FORGOT MY BAG WITH MY FILM!!!! I could have shot myself!!! So I had to go back to my seat and get it...ARGH...luckly I was able to get back to where I was Anyway, I was chaning the film in my camera and I asked a lady that was very calmly sitting down in the front row if I could set my bag in the empty seat next to her. She politely replied "sure". So I did and carried on with my picture taking. Towards the end of R&R I turned and asked the lady if she could see okay as I was standing directly infront of her...she said "honey, if I wanted to be up there, I would have been standing in your spot". I said ok...then like 30 seconds later there was another lady that came up to me (this is the real begining of my story...lol), put her hands on my cheeks (drunk maybe??), and asked how much I loved stevie nicks. Her question threw me off a bit...no one ever just came up to me and asked me that before. She asked again...I replied "I love her!!! I'm a hardcore fan...I mean, my house is basically wallpapered with stevie...I couldn't tell you how much money I spent on ebay!"...she kind of looked at me funny and asked again..."so you really like her then...rrrright???"...I said "Yes...why"...she replied, "well, I have an extra meet and greet pass if you want to go"...MY MOUTH DROPPED!!!!

I asked her about 5 million times if she was serious as I was shaking like a leaf!!! she said "yes, but you have to be quiet about it right now...I"ll talk to you about it after the show!!!"...so for B&TB I really don't remember it as I was still in shock because of that lady!!! So after the show, as everyone is leaving, the lady is still standing there and starts talking to the other lady that was sitting in her chair. They come over to me and say "so are you sure you love her and you want to do this???"...by this time I was geeked!! I couldn't believe it!!! The lady that was sitting down was her girlfriend (lesbians) and really wasn't into stevie that much and saw that I was so she gave her pass up to let me meet stevie!!! I was jumping up and down when they gave me the pass...I was soooo on cloud 9 at this point!!! So I took the pass and me and the lady (tammi) proceeded to the side of the stage where everyone else was that had a pass was congrigating!!!

We waited there for a few minutes and Tammi was asking me all kinds of bizarre questions!!! she was a character...let me tell you what!!!...LOL!!!

Anyway, the venue personel finally decided to take us to go meet La Nicks!!! We walked down a ton of long dark halls to the elevator that took us down to the bowels of The Coliseum!!! It was kind of funny...no one in the elevator talked...I wanted to scream and jump up and down but I composed myself. After the short ride to the "velvet underground", we, yet again, walked down more very dark halls to a large waiting room...we had to wait for stevie to get cleaned up from the show!!! We waited for like 20-25 minutes. Then they said "okay, lets go"...they took us down another hall and there she was in ALL HER SPLENDOR!!! I couldn't believe what I was seeing...IT WAS STEVIE NICKS!!! AHHHHHHHHH

There were about 15-20 of us that had the passes so we all had to wait in a line for our turn to meet her. Beforehand they had said to not ask for autographs as they didn't have time for it...that kind of pissed me off...they said,"you will be able to get a commemoritive picture taken with her though"...I thought ok...thats cool!!! So the time came, my glorious time came...she was right there infront of me!!!! I had total "tunnel vision" walking up to her...she was all that I could see...everything around her was just blank. I walked up to her and she had her hand out ready to shake mine as i approached...I graciously accepted her gesture saying (repeatingly) "thank you thank you thank you..."...that is all I really remember saying. I wanted to tell her that she was soooo beautiful and the show was INCREDIBLE and wanted to kiss her on the cheek...BUT MY MIND WENT BLANK AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO...AHHHHHH!!!! They were getting ready to take the pic at this point. So, I put my arm around stevie's waist and pulled her right into my hip...i held her so tight against me I don't think even the jaws of life could get us apart...LOL!!! I remember her hair being so soft as it was brushing against my arm...she smelled just as beautiful as she looked. Oh, i guess I should tell you what she was wearing...

She was wearing her studded pants with her boots (I think)...also a long, thin black over coat...she was soooo beautiful. One would have never known that she just rock the house down!!! Now that I think about it, she had to have been wearing her boots as her head wasn't too far below mine...I didn't have to look down at her...I am only 5'8" and she is 5'1" and she didn't seem that short...hmmm!!!

Anyway, so I had her pressed right up against me, my arm around her...my hand basically on her ass (very firm I might add )...it was soooo freaking awesome. Tammi was to be in the picture too but she was standing off to the side. I turned and said "come on" ..waving for her to get in the picture...then stevie said the same thing jumping up and down with excitment...it was so damn funny!!!! So they snapped the picture, stevie thanked us and we were shoved aside so the next person could have their turn!!!!

That whole night was just amazing for me!!! You all have no idea!!! I don't think I am ever going to wash those clothes again!!! They are going to be my stevie nicks concert going outfit...LOL!!!

well, I know that I'm forgetting something, but I am racking my brain just to come up with this...the whole thing is (sadly) a blur!!! when I get my picture, I'll post it on here for you all!!!

well, I am off to bed!!! Just got home a few hours ago. Hope you all liked the pictures and video and review that we (vegas going ledgies) left for you...many hours were we up pondering what to say!!!...LOL!!!

FINALLY a TRUE fan gets to meet Stevie in Vegas!! Thank God! I'm so happy for your good fortune. That was so nice of that woman to recognize you as a true fan and someone who really would appreciate meeting her versus someone who really couldn't care either way. I would do the same thing if I had backstage passes to some other artist that I wasn't particularly excited about. Gotta keep that good karma moving around!

I was SOOO close to meeting Stevie in Anaheim this year. I had to watch her walk right past me backstage while Karen led her out... It was like, "Well I came all the way here just to watch you walk out that dooorrrr!!" I can laugh about it now, but boy was I SAD right after it happened.
