Default Faith Hill

Just saw Faith Hill on "The View." She mentioned her little daughter wanted an Ipod for Christmas last year. She wanted Robert Plant, Steven Tyler and STEVIE NICKS songs How cool is that for a little 8 year old!!!

one of my best friends is the sister of Gaye, Faith's best friend. and Faith loves Stevie a lot. Faith and Tim have sang Go Your Own Way live several times. Faith was even going to try to pull some strings to get me backstage last year, but it never really worked out. I'm not a huge fan of her music, but Faith is cool.

That's cool - I've heard that Faith Hill was a Nicks fan. I like her singles - except for "the way you love me" but "This Kiss" makes me unbelievably happy

Yikes...! I think they are both terrible artists. Keep the classics alone you country-pop-half-breed-garbage-singers!

I give Tim a lot more credit than Faith. She's not a very good singer, but her material is pretty decent. I always end up buying her CDs a few months after they are released and end up in the half-off bin. She's got some good ballads and sometimes a girl needs a good ballad.

Tim, on the other hand, is pretty good. I appreciate his type of music and some of his messages. Besides, he's really hot...

That is really cool that you're connected to them, Jason!

I like Faith's first two albums. She was sort of traditional and sort of modern country and I liked the way she pulled that off. I must be crazy for it, but I love her cover of "Piece of my Heart," though my mom likes to remind me how wrong it is that she covered that song and that she cannot pull off Janis. I love "It Matters to Me," "But I Will" and this song on her second album called "Bed of Roses" that I love for some unexplained reason.

Tim--I just can't stand him. His remake of "Tiny Dancer" makes me want to throw things, as most of his other songs do. I can't stand "Refried Dreams," "Don't Take the Girl," and the incredibly obnoxious "Please Remember Me" in my head. I don't know how Faith sings live but I'm not impressed with her husband's voice at all. Okay, I could go on and on but suffice it to say I can't take him. Well, y'all know how I am about celebrities and politicians I don't like.

I feel you on this. He does have some horrible songs. I tend to like the songs that aren't singles.

And as far as But I Will and Bed of Roses...love 'em

You know, that seems to happen more often than not. Why is it the bad songs that get promoted as singles?

I've heard Faith talk about how her daughter loves Stevie in alot of interviews over the years. She says her daughter's voice kind of sounds like Stevie's, with the raspiness. I think Faith's voice is beautiful and her looks are stunning. That bod of her's after three kids, WOW!

Lately, every Faith Hill album gets horrible reviews. It's like she has a bunch of faceless people write her songs and she walks in for a day, lays down safe vocals and then that's it. No heart, no part of herself. They even rip apart her voice now because she just doesn't give any emotion.

Personally, I really loved Cry. But I haven't heard any of the new stuff.

Everyone should be a Stevie fan LOL.

Hillary, you more or less took the words out of my mouth. I've never been able to stand Tim, but have always loved Faith's voice... I dunno what it is about him I dislike so much.

Anyways, that's great that Faith loves Stevie so much. I always love hearing when a celebrity has a love for FM or Stevie, it makes me feel like I kind of have a small connection to them.

I'm not the only one! Oh my--remember that song "One of These Days"? "One of these days I'm gonna love me." That was awful!

I think Faith has a pretty voice, but her songs usually bore me. Especially of late.

I think Tim is cute. I really had a thing for him back in high school. Some of his music I like, some I don't.

Believe me, if I had the choice I'd rather NOT remember that one! I remember briefly liking one of his songs (forget the name), but thanks to commercial radio that died pretty quickly.
