I used to get them confused too - I think they're about the same age - and they came out around the same time - and they both have "helium voice"

Yeah, and they both have that same dark hair/dark eyes/vaguely possibly part-Asian or Native American look (don't ask me to elaborate or think deeply about that one, LOL). I used to get really confused keeping them straight though. And Stevie has sung Michele Branch's praises too--they posed for a pic in a magazine together--have they ever done anything musically together though (Stevie and Michele I mean)? Geez, I'm awful, I can't even remember.

I don't think so but I do remember the picture in the magazine. I get the impression they both think a lot of each other, musically speaking.

Michelle Branch was Sheryl Crow's opener for her C'mon C'mon tour. I didn't think much of her -but she really really impressed me when I saw her open for Sheryl.

She is a talented young thing - and I actually have both of her albums.
