Default cameras at Caesar's Palace?

alright then. i went in may and put my camera inside one of the smaller zipper compartments in my purse. no problems. i don't want to bring a big purse this time around, it just doesn't 'go' with my outfit.

so fellow vegas-went ledgies, how strict were they? let's just say that perchance my camera should fall into that special spot in my bra right in between the goods. it will no doubt set off the metal detector. what is the appropriate response? 'sir, i opted for titanium instead of silicone.' what does one say? do they really care?

i'm packing and i don't want to have to bring the big purse. help?

May 10/2005:

Security guard: Do you have a camera?
Me: Yes.
Security guard: A video camera?
Me: No. Do you need to see inside my bag?
Security guard: No.

I don't think the metal detectors are set very high because cameras and recorders got into the May shows easily. Even if you did set it off, you could just blame your cell phone or jewelry. Should be a breeze.

We were told on Tuesday "she is allowing cameras, just no video." So I brought my digital camera on Wednesday & proceeded to shoot video with it.

I had my camera in my pocket and the alarm went off...the security "wanded" me and asked what was in my pocket...I said my camera and pulled it out and showed him...he asked if that was all...i said yes...then he let me in...they really don't care if you have a camera or not...i could have had the damn thing strapped to my neck and they wouldn't have said a word!!!

I aggree here, The've got Video cameras and audio recorders in. Out of 30+ Stevie/FM concerts in the last 20 years I was nailed once with a recorder on me. at that time the security only took the set of batteries. so I make a run to the bathroom and luckly I had a spare set in my sock.LOL, and end up coming home happy with the show anyway..Cameras no problem so far in my area. keep it in a safe hiding space and they won't find it, If they see a bulge in the pockets, that will trigger them to check you. I can't say here where is my favorite spot, they might be reading this post. good luck and I can't wait for to see what you all get.

Did you get a big memory card? I have a 512MB & that held about 200 pics & I still had about 20 minutes left for vid.
