Default whats the next alvum gonna be like?

You know, I was watching some stuff about who the next president might be, and it got me thinking, if they can talk about that stuff so far in advance, I'll start my own little thing. The next Fleetwood Mac album, which is supposedly coming in 2007. I wonder what kind of an album it will be? As we all know SYW has songs that were written over several years, some more than that, and I'm wondering if this next recording will feature more songs of that nature, or will it be a more unified situation where it will be more new songs. Personally, I wouldnt mind the latter, because as far as I'm concerned they have that in them for sure. And if the next album is to be Fleetwood Mac's last album, (Hopefully not) I think that would be a great way to end their career as a band together, not that Fleetwood Mac has anything to prove to anyone. I'm curious as to what everyone else thinks about this?

Talking

I would love to hear them do something a little different. Say You Will was great, but it wasn't so far away from their "sound." I would like to hear a more Tusk-like record with good solid "radio friendly" stuff and some more obscure things. Then again, if they came out with a very poppy-radio-hits-only type record that would be Ok too. I would really love for Christine to rejoin and be a guest on some tracks.

That would be great.

Well Stevie usually has a lot of songs lying around, so maybe a little of both. A little old and a little new.
Is it gonna be their last album????

I think I'd be happy with any new material, even if it's just Stevie and Lindsey harmonizing while reading the phonebook. Is this album a for sure thing?

I'd like Lindsey to release the solo album he's supposedly working on before any Fleetwood Mac stuff.

I agree, I'd like to hear at what point he is as a solo artist right now. As I'd prefer to have a Stevie solo album before a FM album.

Romy

I agree with Romy. I'd also like to see a Stevie Nicks LIVE album at some point in her illustrious career -- not Romy's, Stevie's.

Lindsey must put out a solo-album first or we get a FM album in 07 with SGCYM, Twist of Fate, Shuffle Riff, Down on Rodeo, Gift of Screws and five new steviesongs, written in a week or three, and worked over in the studio for a year. Oh and a midtempo hardrocker with a guitarsolo that slightly resembles the solo of I'm So afraid.

so that's an alvum. An album we already have.

Ah, I see it translates into Dutch as well.

I keep meaning to tell you that you have the cutest avatar!

Well, I want Lindsey, Stevie, and Christine to all come out with new solo albums before there's a new Mac album. And then when there's a new Mac album, I want Christine to do guest vocals on it, since I know it's too much to ask for her to actually return to the band as a full-fledged member.
