Do you guys get this channel? I don't know what it stands for, Lesbian/Gay something I assume. We just started getting it on cable here, they stuck it between VH1 Country & MTV R&B.

I like much of what I've seen so far - good original shows, great concerts (I caught parts of Indigo Girls & Margaret Cho in the last couple of days.) The old made for TV movies from the 80's, I could do without. Too cheesy, even for me. They had one on the other night where Harry Hamlin's character was banging Kate Jackson's husband's character - I was snickering the entire time I watched, it was so bad.

Are you kidding me?!?!? Making Love is a masterpiece, Paula...

OY, it's bad. But, for those of us who had nothing it was a morsel to snack on in the Reagan Dark Ages.

Logo is cool. Like I was telling Dissy earlier in the week- it may be crap, but it's my crap!

More power to you, doll. I, for one, think it's utter ****. I've seen enough lousy Erasure videos to last me a lifetime and a half.

I fail to see how they can air my beloved Cho and still keep it funny with all the cuts they have to make.

I want this channel so bad, but I fear living in the south will make it very difficult to get my cable provider to carry.

Alright already! Enough Erasure bashing!

They only played that video countdown for 1 weekend that I'm aware of. And at the time they'd only been on the air for a couple weeks, so they didn't exactly have a wide range of programming (still don't, actually).

I've seen the Erasure block on the DirecTV schedule grid thingy every night I've tuned in.

I just wish they'd put something worth watching on there. It's pretty difficult to do so when everything must be edited and sanitized. I mean, how can they air Cho and still keep her hysterical?

You're right. They have very little original programming right now, and most pre-existing gay-oriented fare is "mature". So for now, we have to put up with watered down versions of everything...

I kind of like the original programs that I've seen so far First Comes Love is people planning their wedding/commitment ceremony/whatever. There's a travel show too. I have yet to catch that show where they profile actors who "had the guts to play gay" though.

And I have yet to catch any Erasure videos . Indigo Girls, yes, but not Erasure.

I only saw the lesbian episode of First Comes Love (I think there's only been 2 so far?).

The travel show (Round Trip Ticket) has a good premise, but the host irritates the hell outta me, and so far I've just seen hot locals being flirted with and a focus on where to find the best clubs. Typical...

BTW, despite what may sound like bitching I watch Logo all the time...

Oops! Yeah, that's him. Will Fikle/Figle...? I'm sure he's a lovely person, and they just write really irritating lines for him to say!
