Bella Donna was released! I just happened to catch the date while looking through Enchanted. Wow. Doesn't seem that long.

I was in Estes Park, Colorado...going crazy, calling the one record store in town every hour...waiting and waiting...until I could get it in my hands.
I remember it like it was yesterday...hard to believe that was 24 years ago!

Happy Birthday, BD!

Well, I must admit I was not calling record stores since I was 6, but I so remember hearing Edge on the radio while my mom was in between her Elvis 8 tracks.

lol - well I was 1

Definitely not going to any record stores - and my mom apparently lived under a rock - because to this day she doesn't know who Stevie Nicks is - except because of me...and she calls her "Steh-vee" eerggg.

my mom was pregnant with me 24 years ago, she went on bedrest pretty much right away because doctors were concerned about things that never happened. anyways, she tells me that she listened to this album every day and that she had my dad push the stereo over to the couch where she was camping out. cute.

By the summer of '81 the Tusk tunes and Live '80 were well over played and I knew Lindsey and Stevie were doing solos and It was like another double album coming out. 1981 was a great Mac Attack!

I was twelve and living not far from Stevie's home in Paradise Valley. A local radio station, whose name escapes me because I am now getting old, played tracks from BD a few days before it was released. Outside the Rain was the first song I heard, followed by Kind of Woman.

I will never forget sitting on my brown shag carpet listening to those amazing songs.

A very happy birthday to a brilliant album.
