I really like the lyrics to Paper Doll. They are catchy. The part I like the most is the line about refusing to wear her coat in the rain....that's so like me.

The downfall of Paper Doll, in my opinion, is the music that goes with it. Is that an accordian? Or an organ? Or what? My apologies to Christine, but it's bloody awful, and sounds like a carnival polka...like scary carousel music.

If this song were redone with nothing but, oh, maybe three accoustic guitars for musical accompaniment, it would become something great to me. But not like it is currently.
