Need your thoughts and prayers!

[Stephanie]

To make a long story short, there was an abandoned dog at a truckstop about 2 hours away from my parent's house. The workers there had shot the companion dog (there were 2 at first) and were trying to feed the second one antifreeze to kill it. Anyway, someone put an ad in there paper that the dog was in danger, and my parents adopted it sight unseen. Now it is a great dog, but has heart worm. So they have been getting her up to weight the past few weeks, and tomorrow the treatment starts. THere is a chance, but hopefully small, that she could die.

So please pray for Gypsy and her treatment tomorrow!

What a terrible story! What bastards.

Gypsy will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh, how can people do that?? I hope Gypsy will be okay.

[GypsySorcerer]

I will be sure to keep Gypsy in my thoughts. Hope she will be okay.

[estranged4life]

Those truckstop workers might be interested in knowing about the Alabama Animal Cruelty Act of 2001, particularly Titles 3 & 13A:

Oh, and I forgot to say, bless your folks for taking her in and trying their best to save her! "There are 's here on Earth."

Utterly rephrehensible. I can't comprehend the level of cruelty that so many people seem to possess.
Thankfully there are good people out there though, like your parents.

Count me among those rooting and praying for Gypsy... whose namesake song I heard over the PA system when we went for ice cream tonight -- so I'm hoping that's a good sign that she'll make a full recovery.

Wishing good on Gypsy.
What kind of dog is she, BTW?

I hope she fully recovers. Thats what happened to my dog a year ago, and it is really painful to watch soemthing inncoent be murdered.

Oh my gosh, that is so sad, I'm really sorry to hear that. Did your dog run away, or did some people break into your yard or something?
