Default Linda Eder

are there any other Linda Eder fans lurking out there? I hear she's working on a new album that will pay tribute to someone and I'm dying to know who? Barbra Streisand would be too obvious and she'd never live that one down. Any ideas?

I'm not familiar with her work. I take it her style is similar to Barbra's?

I like her a lot. I have two of her albums -- she has an amazing range and her voice was made for a big band. I hadn't heard anything about a new album but i'm not sure who she'll pay homage to. I hope not Barbara -- not a fan of Streisand.

that's fine. doesn't hurt my feelings. I was just curious what it was because I think they sing in the same style and have very similar voices...although Linda is more big band/broadway, but I still think they are similar.

I remember either seeing or hearing about Linda Eder when Rosie O'Donnell was still doing her show - and she, of course, is a big fan. I really liked what I heard and meant to pick up a cd - and had totally forgotten about it until this thread

BTW - I like Barbra!

Ugh - that reminds me - I had this insane professor who constantly talked about Barbra "StreisLand" - it was really annoying.
