Default "Hello Its Me" by Todd Rundgren

"Hello Its Me" by Todd Rundgren is one of my favorite songs...I am actually a huge Todd fan,..I read that Stevie loved this song and sang on live version of it on Todd's "Back to the Bars" LP...anyone know of any other Todd/Stevie connections? Any other TR fans out there?

Hi, have you ever heard the May 23, 1978 show in Hollywood? It's great. Stevie sang on not only "Hello It's Me" but also "Hang on Sloopy," "She's Gone," and "Just One Victory." I believe she also appears on "Black Maria" on the BTTB album.

I work for a radio station in Dallas and one of my rolodex gems is Todd Rundgren's home phone number in Hawaii! I got it a few years ago when I produced a TV show about the internet and he was one of the first artists to release an album online and charge fans like $9.00 to download the whole thing.

I love the guy and I never get to tell that story anymore, so I couldn't let this opportunity pass me by.

I believe that Rick Vito worked with Todd at some point, my fellow Ohioan.

Yeah, as an OSU grad, I know what you mean. It just sucks when the song comes on in the car, especially at rush hour. I've almost shut 670 down a few times.

Hey everybody,

There's a lot of interest in this show! I've decided to post the Stevie tracks on my site this week. If you'd like the whole show, you can PM me for a trade. If you have nothing to trade, just send me 4 blanks CD-Rs and postage (about $1).

It doesn't take much to shut down a freeway here though, does it?

Another connection is Todd's fun little tune "We've Gotta Get You a Woman," which was written for Paul Fishkin. Paul used to room with Todd, I think, back long before Stevie entered the picture.

It's funny thinking about this song -- Paul had trouble getting a girlfriend. They got him a woman, all right: Stevie Frikkin' Nicks!!

I can't believe no one responded to your post, so I thought I would

That's great! He sounds like an awesome guy, any artist that pioneers the internet like that must be I think.
