Default Holmdel show on Ebay - Help!

It was just brought to my attention that the Holmdel show I personally recorded on 6-4-05 is up for sale on Ebay... I just uploaded this show yesterday on Dime, so somebody on there is obviously trying to make a profit off of it... please help me get this auction off of there.... Thanks

here is the link to the auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...Name=WDVW&rd=1

and here is the link to report this person:

http://cgi1.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAP...rized%20Copies

just enter this item# in the field: 4749426433 and click send, and then submit.

Are you sure it's the one you recorded Brian? There are other recordings from this particular show (not that I agree with selling boots on ebay or anything).

I reported it too. I think we (all Ledgies) need to be vigilant about people selling bootleg live shows that are in circulation, period. We can't allow jerks like this seller to deter our free, open enjoyment of music.

yes, i am sure.. because I just uploaded this show on Dime yesterday and the track listing for my show is exactly the same as this show.. ex. i list the drum solo as "Percussion & Drum solos"... not many people that i have ever seen has labeled it as such... usually they will just label it as "Drum Solo".. coincidence?? i don't think so...

and thanks guys, for all your help

It's now showing up as a Springsteen bootleg. All this guy sells is bootlegged shows. Isn't that against EBay rules????

He's actually selling the setlist, not the recording. WTF?? Is there actually a market for this?

This dude is obviously a mole on this BB and he/she knew a sh*tstorm was a-brewing, so he/she probably changed the auction to something quasi-legit rather than be shut down by the feds. Chutzpah is not lacking around these parts.

What's more shocking however is that this person has a 100% positive feedback rating.

i feel for the people who don't know that entire websites exist where these shows can be downloaded and who don't know that people are more than willing to trade these shows for free. i make a point of reporting boots on ebay, and i don't mind getting hatemail from some jerk seller with no soul. good luck, brian...

How can an auction disappear, or change completely... Was the initial offering a "Buy Now". Whether it was or not... how can the initial Nicks auction disappear unless it was taken down either by Ebay.. or by the seller being "one of us" or someone that lurks on the board and can see that there is a grassroots effort to get rid of the auction...

Can auctions disappear like that??

Well, me and a few other people emailed him and basically threatened him to end the auction or else he was going to be reported... so, i guess he got concerned and changed the listing to something more appropriate

It's full name is dimeadozen: http://www.dimeadozen.org/index.php

It's a form of file sharing - Bit Torrents... And this is one of the hubs so to speak where people post full shows of all kinds and you download.. It's lossless upping and downloading, not mp3's.
