Default Like or Dislike: Think About It

This is one of my favorites. The music makes me feel like I'm waking up on a nice bright sunny day. It's so upbeat, it just makes me happy. I sing along to this tune all the time. Parts of it also get randomly stuck in my head quite often.

The way "think about it, think about it before you go" flows is great. As for the lyrics themselves, I really like:

"Heartbreak of the moment is not endless"
"I am just one small part of forever"
"And the heart says danger"

The one tiny thing that bugs me a little is how she repeats "your fortune is your life's love" in the last verse so close together. Almost like she couldn't think of anything else to stick in there.

This was done live, right? I think I have it on one of my '81 boots. I like it equally live vs. album. I'd love to hear it live now. I think she could definitely pull it off.

Now, album vs. Rumours Remaster version - that's tough. I don't think I can choose. I love them both - it's just so cool to have 2 totally different versions of the same song.

Not a favourite... and I definitely like the reissue version better. That being said, I DO love the line "You'll go on forever... you're that good." I've always thought Christine must have been so touched when Stevie wrote her that line. Not to mention, the fact that she wrote her the whole song. Very sweet sentiment.

I'm quite fond of "Think About It." It's upbeat and positive, and his lifted my mood on several occasions. I love the opening line: "step into the velvet of the morning." Plus, I love that it was written for Christine.

This song absolutely soars in every aspect. I've loved it from the beginning, and it's one that I love more and more as the years pass.

I absolutely love this song. One of my Stevie favorites. I love how it opens with the lyrics, "step into the velvet of the morning." Some of Stevie songs can be depressing so I really like how this song has a glowing, sunny feel to it. I not sure which version I like better. Right now I'm leaning towards the Belladonna one but for a while I preferred the Rumours version better.

There was a time when it was in my top 5. Now it's top 20. It got me through many rough times in my late teens. I love her voice and (like many of my favorite Stevie songs) the combination of guitar & piano. The falling star catcher/one small part of forever part is perfection.
When I first heard the Rumours re-issue I thought it was catchier on a first listen, but not as powerful or aesthetically pleasing. But I've thought if I were on American Idol for country night (don't worry, I know I can't sing at all - and I'm too old), the Rumours re-issue version would be fun for the crowd.

I love this song. I am so glad she did it live for the Bella Donna tour. i thought it was a great song to follow up Gold Dust Woman. And ANY song that is written about Christine is awesome in my book.

Am I the only one who sees only four?
BTW, just to torment you, I'll mention that I think Street Angel is on a level with Silver Girl. I like both, but they are not favorites.
