Reports: Sandra Bullock marries reality TV star

LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- Actress Sandra Bullock, star of "Miss Congeniality," has married reality TV star Jesse James at a ranch in the California wine country near Santa Barbara, according to media reports.

Several hundred people attended the sunset ceremony Saturday at a large rented ranch in the picturesque Santa Ynez valley, according to Web sites for syndicated TV show "Entertainment Tonight," and People and US Weekly magazines.

It was the first marriage for Bullock, who will turn 41 later this month. She was previously engaged to actor Tate Donovan and romantically linked to actor Matthew McConaughey.

James, 35, has been married twice before, most recently to adult-film star Janine Lindemulder. He has three children.

According to the Web site for People, the pair arrived in a red monster truck with James driving. The guests were shuttled to the ranch from area hotels and weren't told they were there for a wedding until shortly before the ceremony took place.

Guests included actresses Jamie Lee Curtis and Regina King and actor William Shatner, according to "Entertainment Tonight."

For wedding bands, Bullock wore a vintage ring by Neil Lane. James wore a ring made by Bullock herself out of steel.

A spokeswoman for Bullock was not immediately available for comment Sunday.

Bullock, who typically plays a good girl in her film roles, met the tattooed James, who is also a motorcycle mechanic, in 2003.

James is the founder of West Coast Choppers, which manufactures high-end motorcycles and includes a number of celebrity clients, and produces and stars in The Discovery Channel's "Monster Garage." James also claims to be distantly related to the famous 19th-century outlaw by the same name.

I can't remember what he looks like but how in the hell do you go from McConaughey to someone who was married to a porn star?

He's not a bad looking guy, if you like all the body art. What would be running through my mind is how many people his ex wife slept with and then he slept with her and were they safe and so on and so forth. Just my mild case of OCD rearing it's ugly head again.

Im not sure who I thought she'd settle down with, but it sure wasnt him....he must have some OTHER talents that arent readily apparent

I think she'd have made a cuter couple with Matthew, he's deLISH

Jesse is hot as hell. But I also think he's kind of a scumbag. I adore Matthew.

Twice married with 3 kids..there's a handful right there!! Let alone an ex adult movie star wife....Hmmm he does seem a bit rough and ready....but good luck to them.

HE BETTER BE GOOD TO HER!!!

I'll kick his a** if he breaks her heart!

Me thinkest Mz. Bullock likey bad boy. And you'd think at 41 she would have learned about losing her heart to a bad boy. Hhhmmm... there must be a lot we don't know about this James character.

If you consider dancing naked, playing bongo drums and smoking pot in your own home wild, then yes, I suppose he is. But hey, isn't that a Friday night to you?

Seeing as she's never been married before and he has -- twice; and he has children, she's not only marrying him, she's marrying all of the baggage that comes with.

He does nothing for me but if he does for her, congrats to them.

I had (until reading previous links) no clue who Jesse James is - I am so out of the loop in many things pop-culture lately.

Anyway - as long as she's happy yea for her - I can't say I find the guy attractive, the three marriages (one to a porn-star) are red flags - but whatever - to each their own.

Maybe she was just desperate to get married at her age.

Hmm...

I don't watch tv so I had to look at the pics of Jesse. The tattoos don't bother me and he has a nice body but his facial features are unremarkable.

Doesn't do anything for me. And previous marriages w/ children are a definite turn off. Then again, I've never really had a taste for bad boys so... whatever.
