Philly 6/3/05 Dvd???

So officially, who has gotten theirs and who has not???
I did get mine, and like in one of my past posts about this, I didn't get the dvd case and artwork that was PROMISED!!! Well I kindly emailed this "mel flowers" person asking when I was going to receive it. Mel so rudly said, "Great, glad I ruined your chances of re selling it!!!"....my mouth dropped

I couldn't believe what I read!!! I have never had any intention of reselling this show. I am in the trading business, not dvd business!!! How obsurde!!! I had bad luck in the past with Todd Davey and thought this person would turn my thoughts back around, but little did I know....I just thought I would pass this around. I know some of you have not even gotten there dvd!!! So, IMHO, Mel flowers aka...nitebird2005 is a ruthless con!!!
There I have said my piece about this issue!!! If anyone wants to disagree so be it, but this is how I feel!!!

I totally agree... what an ASS! I was planning on ordering one myself, but there seems to be a few different sellers on ebay from time to time, so I'm not sure which one this guy is. I hope this concert will eventually be uploaded so EVERYONE will be able to have it..... then this dumbass can sit there & sulk his stupid face off

I got mine....... I honestly don't remember anything about artwork being mentioned though... I'm okay with that--I like it anyways

I really think it was all the same person just using different names!!! I don't know if she/ he is just pissed because of all the negative feedback that was left awhile ago or if they are worried about it gettting torrented. If that is the case, you wasted your time honey, it will eventually get torrented...could be tomorrow or next year or 5 years from now...it will happen...not by me...but it will happen...SO GET OVER IT!!! I will NEVER purchase from anyone again...NEVER....that is twice I got screwed over....shame on me for trusting people in the stevie community that I don't know!!! I learned my lesson well...!!! You should be glad you didn't get it!!! The show is blurry, you can't really see stevie's face...there are multi angle views, but half are screen shot that are crappy shots. Then during GDW you know the part where she yells, the camera man doesn't get it...during rhiannon...the part where her back is to the audience and her sleeves are hanging...not there...and her SB twirls...not there!! During SB twirls, they record waddy jamming on his guitar...obviously not a stevie fan that recorded it!!! Yes, the audio is nice..."digital"....but over all I would not grade it as "great" as mel did...not all that to be desired...it is an average recording!!!

I just don't think he mentioned it when emailing me is all..... I was a little disappointed when it didn't have any--but wasn't really expecting it either I guess.......

UGH!!!!!!!!!!! I hate when they don't show the twirls or Rhiannon thing.

I know your pissed pal, but jeez its not like I'm sittin' here with kleenex, with my mascara running, bawling my eyes out! There was never anything for me to get over.... Its not like your the only one whose ever gotten screwed through ebay, trading, selling, whatever..... theres a risk to this stuff & you know it. You've learned your lesson (again), now you just have to suck it up & move on. Don't let this experience make you so hard-hearted, I'm sure there are lots of honest people here who would be willing to do trades or whatever.... I'm not trying to be mean, but your comment was like a slap in the face, considering I was backing you up on your view about this situation

Sorry to hear about your rude e-mail. I don't know if mine is from the same seller, but a friend ordered me a Jones Beach dvd that came recently, i have no idea from whom, it came with no return address in a clear dvd case... The quality isn't bad, but i think its cheesy how these people selling boots bought ONE concert ticket and then split it into 2 separate dvds to sell, what i really wanted was to have 'Hotel Cal' on dvd, but thats on the Don dvd bein sold separately.
I wasn't blown away by the Jones Beach dvd, parts of it are very clear, but a lot of it seems to have an element of 'snow' in the background, like when you'd record from tv on VHS and maybe had 'tv' selected instead of 'vcr' so it comes out, but a little fuzzy... if anyone has this show, i have a Q-- on 'BATB' Stevie goes to sing the first note 'You're' and out comes a very hoarse 'YICKKKKK'- followed by a pause, then she starts again and does just fine...i wonder if this a glitch in the recording, like a tape-speed button mishap, or did she really sing 'yickkkk, you're not a stranger to me'.......

But really, i just wish the bootlegger coulda stuck on at least 'Hotel Cal' if not 'New York Minute' and 'Last Worthless Evening'

Of-course i thanked my friend for his generosity and didnt tell him all this; he had been waiting for 3 weeks to hear from me that it came in the mail, so i played up his thoughtfulness and how happy i was to have it..but
i bet your Philly DVD is better than this show...wish i could get the entire Mohegan Sun show i attended...

Stevie does not mess up here, she says "Mick", not Yick, because Mick was in the audience that night (he passed my seat several times) and she dedicated the song to him like she did in Vegas on May 14. By the way, I think the quality of the boot is pretty good, the only annoying thing is that you can hear the wind blowing during the slow songs because it was so windy (and cold!) that night.

Thanks, Whitesoxx! of course it was 'Mick' i should have known that from the posting weeks ago, and i re-watched the dvd deep in the middle of the night, and gosh her enunciation of 'Mick' couldn't have been clearer, so i dunno what i was hearing when i first watched it. You're right again that the quality of the boot is pretty good. I wish the 'Rhiannon' ending from Mohegan Sun was repeated at this show, it was fierce!

I really agree with you on that stuff. Those were the times when I was screaming at the TV, "WHere is Stevie????"

Also, there were several places where everything was completely black for more than a minute or two.....Did that happen on yours, or is mine a defective one?

No...mind didn't black out...it just kind of paused in a few places and had the little digital pixel thing going on then would skip a few seconds into the show!!!
