Default Amplification question

I've been trying to get a sound closer to what Lindsey had back in the 70s when he was playing his Les Paul Custom, which is what I play... anyone have any suggestions for a good amplifier to try? Anyone know what he was playing out of? Thanks!
Adam

I seem to recall him playing through 100w HiWatt half stacks

I read that too, about the HiWatt cabs back in the Rumours days. I have seen Boogie combos and heads in his rack gear since the Tusk days (in photographs of course!). I know he uses all Boogie stuff now. I think its the Tremoverb amp head.

During The Dance he was using the Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier heads.

Yeah I just checked thru my old guitar mags from those days. He said it was the Mesa Boogie Tremoverb (which was part of the Dual Rectifier series I believe)...sorry Chili

I didn't see what he was playing through this past tour, though...I could see the Mesa logo, but still couldn't (from my seats even with binoculars) make out the model. Could've very well been the Tremoverb during the SYW tour...I just don't know.

I believe it was the same Tremoverb model Chili...at least it looked very similar too it. He may have upgraded to the Triple Rectifier like you said. I know he had the "double stacked heads" like he did on the Dance tour. Even from the front row I could quite read out what the amp face said.

Those bastards at Mesa Boogie, under their "artist" section refer to him as "Lindsay Buckingham". Grrrrrr!
