Okay, I tried to remember everything I could and I first wrote it on my Xanga, and I'm too lazy to go back and change anything, so bear with me. Stuff is kinda scattered!
I also wrote about before the show since that's when the good stuff happened...Oh yeah, I went with my former teacher (littlecricket2) Miss G. came and picked me up about ten to eleven, so by the time Juli and Melissa got their acts together I was allowed to leave. We left at about 11 and we were on the road until 3:30. It didn't take us that long. We also lost an hour since we were going to Michigan. After we finally found the hotel we parked and walked there just to check it out instead of lugging our **** all around. Our mouths dropped when we got into the hotel. It was so effing nice. It was also huge. So we get to the desk and check in and everything and then we go and check out our room. Awesome. So we go back to the car and grab our stuff. As we were coming back in with our stuff there was a guy in the elevator with us and noticed my shirt. He asked if we were going to the concert tonight and we said yes. He then asked us if we saw Stevie. We were like "Wait, what? No?" And he's like "Oh yeah, I was walking in before and I saw her band and the backup singers" We just looked at each and got all giddy... He then said that he didn't see her. Okay, we then assumed that they were staying in the same hotel as we were since it was connected to the arena and it was really nice. After getting settled in we went downstairs to just check the place out. There were two more ladies in the elevator with us and asked if we were going to the concert (Saw my shirt again) and then they told us how they had front row at a Fleetwood Mac show and they got to touch Lindsey's thighs when he bent down for Go Your Own Way. Okay, awesome. We went to the two towers since we figured that's where Stevie would be staying. There were 26 floors, so we were gunna go up there. We get into the elevator and there was like a guy that worked at the hotel and he had someone's bags and noticed we pressed the 26th floor. He's like "You need a key to go up there" Miss G. was like "Oh yeah, sorry" We got off at the 22nd floor and we were for sure that she was up on the 26th floor. Miss G. then took a picture of the outside since we were so high up and there was a great view. We were coming back down and walking out of the elevators and I don't know what I was looking at but Miss Grilli goes "THERE'S KAREN!" I was like "Wait, Karen... who??" She's like "Stevie's assistant!!" I was like "HOLY ****" So we ran around the corner to see where she went and guess who was walking right next to her??!?!?! We totally were walking behind them and we didn't know if it was Stevie or not. Of course, me with the big mouth goes "She's too fat to be Stevie" DUR, I WAS WRONG. We then saw Raul and I saw Stevie carrying one of her dogs and Karen had the other. Stevie looked SOOOOOOOOOOO short next to Karen, since Karen looks like a freaking amazon woman. Steves had her hair all in curlers... IT was SO FUNNY! So, by this time I was LITTERALLY HYPERVENTILIATING and Miss G. had to pull me away and calm me down. I was doing this screetchy whisper thing going "STEEEEEEEEEVIEEEEEEEEEEE" and Karen turned around saw us. Raul also saw us. I just wanted her to turn around so I could say Hi or Good luck tonight, or something like that! By this time they turned the corner. I am kicking myself now for not saying her name and louder, just getting her attention so I could say "I love you" or "Can't wait for the show tonight!" You know? We had to go back to the room so I could pull myself together. We both grabbed our phones and I called Danielle and Miss G. called Janelle (Hi Janelle! : : ). I had to lie down from hyperventilating. Words do not describe what I went through after that happened. Okay, so after that that's all that we kept talking about. We went to dinner and then went back to the room before the show started. We got to the venue about a half hour early. Miss G. sat down in her front row seat, and I went and sat in my 3rd row seat. I was near a few people from the Ledge, and there was also a few people maybe a few years older than me, so I was talking to them. My seat was great, I was DIRECTLY INFRONT OF HER. So, Vanessa Carlton came out and did about 6 or 7 songs. She was SOOO GOOD. I have a new love for her. She was also really cute and her dress was gorgeous. She kept making jokes. When she first came out, she was like "I am Stevie Nicks. Just Kidding" and everyone started laughing. After Vanessa left we had another like fifteen minutes before Stevie came out. I was sitting and heard Janelle calling my name. I was like "What?" and she's like "Lisa wants you" So Miss G. was at the end of the seats calling for me and wanting me to come near her. I was like "Ummm... okay..." and she's like "Don't ask, just come on!" So I went up front and I guess she went to the Security guard and was like "I'm a teacher and I brought one of my former students with me and I'm up in front row and she's back in third and I was wondering if she could sit next to me until the person that's supposed to be there shows up since the seat has been empty for a while now" so the security goes "Sure, I don't see a problem with that." THEN the guy next to her goes "Oh, that's my seat." and Miss Grilli was like "Oh, I'm so sorry" and hes like "No, it's okay. I bought a pair of tickets and I couldnt' find anyone to go with me, so this is my seat and no one will be sitting here" SO, I GOT TO STAY FRONT ROW FOR THE WHOLE SHOW!!! So I was sitting and talking to Janelle and Bootylicious started playing. Everyone jumped up and started dancing. Us front row people went to the stage and we got to stay there the whole time. Then came the Dreams remix. When Stevie came out I was screaming my lungs out. I couldn't believe it. She was about 10 to 15 feet away from me. Outside the Rain - Amazing. She pulled this song off so good. I've always loved it. Dreams - It's the same as it's always been done... She did the cute little hula dance, too. Enchanted - I love this song becuase she busted out the tambourine and was going nuts. Stop Draggin' My Heart Around - I love Waddy on this song. She kept turning and singing to him and was also singing to Sharona. I love when she screamed the "STOP!" Everyone did it with her. Rhiannon - Same as it's been. She still rocked it and I love this song. I actually got the see the sleeves up close. She screamed the "WELLLL I DON'T THINK YOU DO!" at the end and the crowd went nuts. Sorcerer - I was so excited to hear this song. Awesome awesome. Gold Dust Woman - Whoa, I saw the shawl up close! SO COOL! It was cool at the end, she walked over to Waddy and held out her arms so he was covered by the shawl. I have a damn good picture of this. Stand Back - As usual, it was awesome. She twirled like a million times and of course we got the high kick at the end. I'm not sure if it was this song but I know during one of them she started shimmying and then burst out laughing after she did it. She really got into it and was like bopping up and down and dancing a lot I Need to Know - I absolutly love this song. It was just as great as usual. Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You - She was talking about that ONE.org and dedicated it to that. She talked for a while and I thought it was kinda rude all the people screaming when she was trying to be serious. Circle Dance - I never really knew this song, but I liked it a lot better without Don. She was talking about the song beforehand and was telling us how she talked to Bonnie Raitt that day and Bonnie was excited someone covered her song and no one has ever done that before. Fall From Grace - I've always loved this song... She totally rawked it out. I was going nuts just watching her. This was the last song that her hair was curled for. Afte the song she goes "Hmmm, I wonder who I wrote that song about?" I had no idea what was meant by that... hmm... Edge of Seventeen - I waited all night for this song. I knew that I would get to grab her hand since I was so close. Taku and the drummer (I forgot his name) went nuts while Stevie was in back changing. It was SOOO COOL. She held the note at the end FOREVER. She walked right to me and grabbed my hand and I got to hold it for like 5 seconds. I almost started crying. Everyone was screaming after this song. Then she went backstage and of course she came out to do an encore. The gibberish was the best. She didn't do the "oooo baby ooo said ooo" but the audience filled in that for her!! Rock and Roll by Led Zepplin - I almost pissed myself when I heard this. She could not have done this any better. She came out in those pants again and boots, so I got to see them up close!!! She totally rocked it out...She also did this hilarious thing with her knees... I can't even explain it but it was super cute. Beauty and the Beast - I never really appreciated it when I saw her at the Tweeter Center. This time I actually paid attention and wasn't worried. She almost started crying at the end and that's when I lost it. I was crying like a moron. Now for some random things that I remembered and didn't know where they went... Security didn't care about cameras until right before Edge. Damn them, there was one standing almost right next to me. The guy next to me got his digi cam almost taken away, but I had people around me watching out She kept leaving the mic and was walking around the stage and dancing. She seemed so happy and energetic. I don't remember when she introducted the band, either. When she was introducing her drummer she goes "He has the best hair in the band... Well, maybe the second best" Yes, Stevie, you are hott and you know it. When introducing Brett she said "Sexy, sexy, sexy.." What? Ick. During the show I don't remember what song but she was turned toward Sharona and they were singing to each other and Jana was standing there like "okay... what am I supposed to do?" Hahaha I thought it was funny! Okay, well that's most of the stuff I remembered... If anyone wants to correct or fill more in, go ahead! ![]()
