Default Red Rocks

I figure alot of people are traveling to see this show from out of state, or maybe out of country. I figure this is the holy grail for most Stevie fans as far as a place to see her live. I think I'm going to go, it'd be about a day and a half drive from Minnesota, but I think It's worth it. Who else is traveling to this concert? I'd love to meet some people there

If the Red Rocks concert from '86 was a real show, i would probably want to hop onto a plane and head out to Colorado this year just for the sake of nostalgia...

but since nothing about that show that was released was real (not the vocals, not the closeups, not the music), i don't look at Red Rocks as much of a special place or special show anymore...

i have the uncut/unedited version of the Red Rocks concert from '86... it aint pretty...

I would love to see the uncut version. Is it downloadable anywhere ?

I worked with a woman who was a camera operator on the shoot and she said it was insane.
How is the quality ???

There's no video that I'm aware of, just the hideous audio.

There has GOT to be a video somewhere. Just not ever snagged by one of us.
I suspect the audio must be comparable to "Croaks and Staggers" which is almost unlistenable.

I'm going and I am as excited as they come. I am leaving from the San Francisco area. Myself, Tiff and another friend of mine from Stockton Ca. and then there is a sweet girl we met in Vegas, that is driving to Ca. from Washington I think, then her and the Stockton friend are driving to Colorado. Myself & Tiff are flying. (Am I stealing thunder Tiff????? )

I have to say ever since I thought maybe I wanna go (no thanks to the peer pressure of Tiff and my Stockton pal...lmao) I watched the 86 Red Rocks special. I hadn't in some time. OMG, I mean I still love it, cause it's nostalgic for me, but being older now, I just see SO much clearer, Stevie's state of being. Yikes. Still, the thought of that gorgeous surrounding, and being somewhere that held signifigance...this will be one hell of a show. I don't think anything will be different, but the setting (IMO) reminds Stevie if AZ, so I think there is sort of a spiritual comfort for her. I've never been there, but the pics of the place alone give me goose-bumps. It just looks SO gorgeous, and such a setting to see a concert. I am VERY excited.
