Smile Pittsburgh

Hey all...here is a recap ...while its still fresh..ill type more later..just got in and I am tired...

Henley was great....The Eagles were my first love and I enjoyed his set. The one problem I have with him , is that he seemed very impersonal...not alot of talking or thank you's. And I wish he would sing more with his eyes open..he always look like he is in pain or constapated...lol...

The Crowd went nuts when Stevie came out during Hotel California...to me this was the highlight of Don's set next to Life in the fast Lane and Desperado. Stevie looked awesome and I loved the pants...very cool and very nice to see her try something new.

Outside the Rain ROCKED!!! Loved the gibberish she sang at " You think baby that there anyone in the whole wide world could ever replace me" ....my tounge was wagging!!!!

Dreams...Same Old Same Old...love the song..nothing new

Gold Dust...Does anyone besides me think That Don's Part kinda messes up the whole vibe of the song?

Stop Draggin...the best version I have heard her sing in years!!! Don did a great job on Tom P's Parts...a highlight for me.

Circle Dance...Great Song...Cool Harmonies!!!

Stand Back...I Counted about 12 Twirls....Awesome..Brought the house to its feet...

Beauty and The Beast...I almost teared up....Very Stong Performance.

Edge....GREAT YELL....held the note for about 15 seconds....

Leather and Lace...VERY COOL...never saw this before live...

SYWBARARS....Didnt like it...should have been something that the crowd knew...

All and All A Wonderful show...Stevie was playful and very entertaining...Was very into it...Gave it her all. Best I have ever seen her Solo...and WITH Fleetwood....The Crowd was into it for the entire show..and It was about 75 % full...* Capasity was 23,000 ....COME BACK SOON STEVIE!!!!!

More Later...now its time to sleep!!!!

Thanks for the review! It sounded like you had a great time!

Oh, I do agree with you about the whole Don singing on Gold Dust Woman...

Great review!

I also agree with you on Don & GDW ... but I'll take it anyway for this tour. I bet Don fans feel the same way about Stevie singing on HC. But, I think HC is just incredible with Stevie on it. I wonder if Don fans are totally digging GDW with Don?

I read somewhere on another thread or it may have even been another board that Don said the other nite during his set, with the crowd anticipating Stevie's appearance "I know, I'm just the opening act, Stevie will be out in a minute", that completely cracked me up!

Great review!

Sorry we couldn't meet up or something.

For me, GDW was awesome. Don was great on it. The whole vibe of the song was a total 360...very refreshing.

I also thought Don was very interactive with the audience, compared to the reviews I have been reading. He even introducted Stevie....they held hands....danced together. I enjoyed his set very much.
