Talking Hotlanta-6 more days!

But unfortunately no ticket yet. Why does this always seem to be the case with Atlanta? The closest I've found is F3 Row A on ebay which isn't bad but you have sec. F1 and F2 in front of that. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but time is running out...

I cant wait till Atlanta...Atlanta is always a little tough to get Stevie tickets...she played 2 shows here in 2001 at Chastain one July 30 and one Sept 22...

There's always a large Georgia following for Stevie, I've gotten way better tix for Stevie/Mac shows in like Fl, SC, TN etc than here in my home GA....I dont quite know why that is...

I did that All Access thing for Atlanta so I will be SOMEWHERE in the first 20 rows

A friend's company bought me a ticket. We are on the first risers off of the floor. So, while I wouldn't mind being closer, I ain't objecting to free, esp. after Vegas and NYC for NOTS Plus, my friend's work group are a blast so I am pumped!!!!

I'm glad it's at Gwinnett Arena rather than Philips or Chastain...Chastain is nice, but the crowds suck...and Philips is not in the best part of town...great parking at Gwinnett too..I love how its so open, and out and not a parking garage

A friend of mine who is a big Henley fan talked me into going with her. Not sure where our seats will be, as she is purchasing them now, as I type. I'm encouraged by some of the press reviews of the show. Should be fun!!!

I work downtown essentially across the street and parking lot from Philips - so I am used to that area and the parking is free for me as I park in my building But, Gwinett is the nicest arena by far in Atlanta. It is a little far from town, but well worth the trip IMO. Even the food is good there

As for Chastain - no thank you - if I NEVER go there again, I will count my blessings - I hate that place and the people who work there are pricks.

Chastain is only good if the crowd is into the act. Saw Mary Chapin Carpenter there last year and the B52's and it was great. The Indigo Girls totaly rule that place! But when I saw FM there for the SYW part 2 tour, it sucked. The crowd was so rude. Seeing Stevie there twice in 2001 from the front row, I was amazed at the people walking around, even across the front while she was performing.

I almost got thrown out for the SYW concert because while I was on like the fourth row and the ENITRE fourth row went to the stage with the blessing of the security guy standing at the fourth row, some other vilunteer security guy determined I should not be there. And - the volunteer security guy just liked screwing with me, as I heard him tell his other punk friend later. My friend owns a house immediately behind that venue and I like to go on his roof with a six pack of beer - we can see and hear better than in the venue, it and the booze are waaaaaayyyyyy cheaper if not free, and there is no bull**** volunteer on a power trip security to deal with. Plus, the handicap seats there are situated in such a way that those poor people cannot see when the people in front of them stand. The City of Atlanta's solution for that is to hang a t.v. from the ceiling and hope the handicap people can move their heads to see it. I used to have a table, which costs over a thousand a year. Then, they screwed me out of the spot I had and gave me some lame excuse ehen in reality, the lady in charge pur her friends there and moved me back. I know this because her friend whose table it was inadvertently told me so. Finally, the City of Atlanta, who owns it, makes millions off of it a year and will NEVER redo it or put any money into it - fu*&ers.

I HATE that fu&*ing place so much I could scream, which I think I just did

How many tickets are you looking for? Just pulled up one ticket for Section 116, row U. Of course, that's not the floor, but it's right beside the stage.

I'm spoiled and I wanted floor seats up close, but after all the money I spent on the SYW tour paying brokers, I settled for section 107...I think 9 or 10 rows up, can't remember. It's beside the stage, directly across from section 116. Good enough, I suppose.

Anyway, good luck! Can't wait for the show!

I agree Gwinnett Arena does have good food...the traffic is usually easy there too. I also think Gwinnett Arena has the best sound of all of the Atlanta venues. I have to admit Chastain's sound was great for the F-Mac show in 04, I was expecting it to be lowered, because I know they have the sound ordinance in that neighborhood, but it was abnormally loud for Chastain, and very clear

hey everybody- haven't posted in a while but just wanted to say that I will be at the show--- just bought some tickets on Ebay for HALF PRICE I got two tickets- floor section 5 row G on the aisle for $114 including shipping. Not the best, but you can't beat half price tix! SO, anyone who still needs tix and doesn't want to shell out $110 per ticket, CHECK EBAY!!!!

BTW, anybody know how many rows back Section 5 row G is from the stage? Obviously, they are the 7th row in Sec. 5, but how many rows are there in section 1 and 2- 20? 30?

This is my first non-FM stevie show; I really wish it was just a Stevie solo show given that the current setlist has to be the blandest EVER (and SO short!), but it will be cool to hear her sing with Don, and according to everybody's reviews she is really giving it her all this time around! SO, I am really looking forward to it!

See you at the show!!! WOOHOO!!!
