Buckingham/Fleetwood Mac tribute sample songs

Fleetwood Mac and Lindsey Buckingham motivated me to dream about doing layered recordings of my own music. Buckingham began doing this in earnest with the Tusk album. For twenty years I fantisized about having self-recording capabilities. In 2001 (like the same week as 9/11) I purchased all the necessary home recording equipment to start producing quality sound. I created four sample songs using Fleetwood Mac/Buckingham material. They can be found and listened to by using the link below. And please give me some sort of feedback. Thanks, SCUBASTEVE

first feedback: Tusk is from 1979.....

Interesting sounds on walk a thin line.....don't know if I like it yet...this no stuff that gets you at once when you totally ADORE the originals.....

I'll listen further.....but it certainly is "earpiercing weird AND recognizable".....maybe you should make it a little more unrecognizable....So it would surprise me a little more.... but hey....who am I!.....they sound is perfection though.....

Okay scubasteve, WATL was okay.... Never going back again live is something else.....Here the wellwritten additions are really blocking the space in the song. To my ears, Lindsey slowed it down to give guitar and vocals space and create room for emotion in softness, fragility, vulnerability and details... and you ruined that space in my opinion. I'd say: leave it that lost moment in time... it's too friggin' beautiful as it is

Oh......And you saw FM in early 1980 or en 79, because FM-live came out around december 1980.

I really like the fact that you play with your (our) heroes,Scubasteve, but I'll leave my remarks for myself now...This song is such a cracker. I really don't understand what you wanted to do with it.....so I'll pass the stick to someone else....

.....okay, wait. I'm so Afraid is weird! It's a sonic journey that does NOT capture the original feel, but adds something completely different. This is something else. cool. I don't think it's pretty at all, but it breathes something special.
