Default Another Jones Beach question

Sorry about that but I can't get a real live person in the box office.

IF anyone has taken a cab/car service from Jones Beach--where is a good place to arrange a pick-up? Can they pull up to the front gate (near the will call window?) I can't think of anywhere else to tell them to stay and I just don't want to give them a location that may be blocked or gated after the show starts.

Thanks.

Love,

All the limos pretty much lined up after the show in the same space the last time I was there. But, it dropped us off in front of the arena (anywhere we wanted) before the show. This was in 2001. Be sure to get the driver's cell number.

I'm not sure if you know this, but the Long Island Railroad offers bus service to the theater from one of their train stops. I think Freeport. I took the train a few times from the city to the concert and it was fun.

I thought about doing that, but was concerned that the concert would end too late. I am glad to see the buses run to the train station afterward!!!!!!

I'm not sure but I think the bus would have to wait for the concert to end. There are usually several buses so it takes a few minutes to load the bus. But I would check if you decide to pursue this...have a great time!

I have been there twice and both times there were buses (like five) after the concert ended. Certainly, they must know to provide buses - but I would call just to make sure as you cannot really call a cab from there and walking is out of the question
