Stand Back

So, Stevie Nicks and Don Henley promise to sing some classic duets on their joint tour. Here are our nominations: “I've Got You, Babe,” “Don't Go Breaking My Heart,” and, in lieu of a white winged dove, “Mockingbird.”

Seriously, we want to hear “Leather and Lace,” which the two sang on Nicks' “Bella Donna” album back in 1981. And I'm betting we will when the Fleetwood Mac gypsy diva and the Eagles Walden-Pond frontman play the Mohegan Sun Arena. Their joint tour starts Friday, and they're here Monday. Put your bets on Henley singing the Tom Petty part on “Stop Draggin' My Heart Around.”

Both Nicks and Henley will perform their hits from their solo careers and from their band years. Here's my proposal: have them switch songs. How great would it be to hear Nicks sing “Desperado” and Henley sing “Dreams”?

Stevie Nicks and Don Henley perform at 7 p.m. Monday at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets range from $75 to $125. Visit the Sun Box Office or ticketmaster.com, or call any ticketmaster number.

I think he would actually consider it! I remember at a benefit show he auctioned off one of Stevie's shawls, unbeknownst to her!

The show starts at Seven? I thought they always started at Eight. Or, I guess this will be an extra long show since it is really two concerts.... God I wish they were doing a FL date- although I will be seeing her solo later in the summer. I just love Leather and Lace and I want to see it live!
