Protecting our borders?

Republicans really wanna fight the war on terror, and protect us huh?

Well even though the Byrd Amendment No. 516 passed 65 to 34, which was an amendment to increase funding for border security - ALL 34 voting NAY were Republicans, isn't that a coincidence???

Another amendment passed with 96 to 4 votes to raise Veterans medical care by $410,000,000 by 2006 ---the 4 voting NAY, were of course Republicans..

Is this a pattern or what

because I think it needs to be shouted from the rooftops.

Not that I know of...I found this by doing as I do often, looking through Senate voting records

Don't even get me started. They are pro-life, yet the support war and want to ban stem cell research. Do people not see how hypocritical they are?? It is disgusting
