Default This place is hopping!

I just wanted to say, in the four years since I joined the Stevie board, I have never seen it so active, not even in the weeks leading up to TISL's release. There are regularly 30-40 people logged on, and more posts than you can shake a stick at.
Despite the fact that people seem disappointed by Stevie's Vegas set list, something about these shows seems to have appealed to people's imaginations!
Maybe it's partly because everyone's banded together in an unprecedented way to share info about the shows and the upcoming tour -- along with MP3s and videos... It's all very cool...

I think it has something to do with the fact that we were all in the SAME TOWN together, many of us on the same night and seeing each other face to face for the first time. When it's something like a SYW or TISL tour, it's fragmented across many cities and several weeks/months apart. It's no surprise to me there is a sense of unity on the board right now. And might I ADD... the NICKS FORUM in particular!

I agree--also I think since people have heard the audios, saw the videos, and read the reviews and stuff...many...not ALL...but many are not as disappointed with the set list, because she really seemed to make it work and have fun with it

Yup - I'm one of those. Was disappointed - not so much anymore. Was so happy to hear everyone had a great time - and the boots have been unreal. Don't get me started on how fabulous her voice is sounding...

You have only yourself to blame for venturing into Stevie territory.

No, you need a signed consent form to enter the Chiffon Palace.

(Or you at least have to know that "Gate and Garden" is actually a Stevie Nicks song!)
