Default If I were to have a say about her setlist...

...I'd have her do these:

I Can't Wait
Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
Sable On Blonde
Rooms On Fire
If I Were You
Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind
Smile At You
Planets Of The Universe
Illume
Love Changes
Beauty & The Beast
Sorcerer
That Made Me Stronger
No Spoken Word
Stand Back
Free Fallin'
Edge Of Seventeen

{encore I}
Think About It
Gold Dust Woman

{encore II}
Crying In The Night
I Miss You

And, even still, there'd be some folks who would complain about her set.

I think that would be an amazing show!
I would bet that most of the people who go to her concerts at Caesars have seen her before, and it's a little like releasing a Best Of CD - the fans already have everything officially recorded, so why buy it?
For my money, I would LOVE to see her doing something really visual - pull out the videos (or get new images) for those screens, buy a new dress or two, get rid of the ugly orthopedic Reeboks or whatever they are, get some new moves (or dancers). Seems to me like the show needs a producer with vision.
In short, Stevie needs to realise that the fans love her and are flying from all over the country to see a "special" show - something that requirs a little more work than the usual tour stuff.
For my part, I'm taking my first trip to Vegas for the weekend, goodness knows how I'm going to pay for it, and however much I'll enjoy the show, I'm already feeling a little let down - but at least I know now what to expect. Or what not to expect!

That set would kick ass. Look at the potential there.

Great set of songs listed there. I also had a vision of her doing a little block in the show of some of her soundtrack tunes like Blue Lamp, Sleeping Angel, If You Ever Did Believe, Touched By An Angel and Violet & Blue.

Cool set. I'll post one I would've wanted to see just for kicks.

1. Talk To Me
2. Outside The Rain/Dreams
3. Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
4. Enchanted
5. Planets Of The Universe
6. Gold Dust Woman
7. Sara
8. Illume
9. Sorcerer
10. Crystal
11. After The Glitter Fades
12. Rooms On Fire
13. No Spoken Word
14. Landslide
15. Bella Donna
16. Stand Back
17. Nightbird
18. Fall From Grace
19. Rhiannon
20. Everybody Finds Out
21. Edge Of Seventeen
22. I Need To Know
23. Leather And Lace
24. Beauty And The Beast

Something like that would've been killer. Would be a show to remember by my standards.

I don't complain about these set lists anymore -- I just bitch about the ugly clodhoppers.

I just realized what I dislike about them: the sole is as high under the ball as under the heel (as opposed to her old boots, which had a much higher heel than sole). So the effect visually is as if she were shuffling around wearing 63 pairs of Japanese tatami sandals.

David, I thought of you when she trudged on stage wearing those hideous things Tuesday night.

Watching 'Live In Boston,' I think the biggest problem with the Reeboks (how do you spell that, anyway?) is that they make her look weighted down.

In her platform boots, even if she isn't running all over the stage like she used to, she at least gives off a vibe of lightness and mobility. But in the Reeboks, no matter how much she moves or dances, she looks like her shoes are a magnet and the stage is steel.

I'm a firm believer that she should be comfortable, and I can imagine that after dancing on stage night after night for 25-30 years, and in platform boots, no less, one's bound to need orthopedic shoes at some point. But I still think she could find footwear that would be both comfortable for her, and complimentary to her clothing style.

Okay that's true. They do make her look weighted down and yes the sole is the same height as the heel. The fact is they are ugly ass shoes and make her look like a crazy bag lady. Thank God I havent' had a good enough seat at one of her shows so that they would be distracting me from enjoying her performances.

That said the leg warmers do help a bit.

Good point...I pretty much just spaced on those...ESPECIALLY "Touched By An Angel" (that one, had it been included on TISL in place of "Too Far From Texas", would've made TISL almost the perfect album...in the same way Lindsey's OotC was for him)

Cool I'll play...

Let's see, since the name of the vegas thing is call Dreams I would start with the Dreams remix she's doing first. So this would be my setlist:

1. Dreams remix
2. I Can't Wait
3. Races are Run (okay, I know, I'm Dreaming)
4. Stop Draggin My Heart Around
5. How Still My Love
6. Sable on Blond
7. Violet and Blue
8. Bella Donna
9. Enchanted
10. Landslide
11. Planets Of The Universe
12. Sara
13. Sister Of The Moon (Just with the piano, like the demo)
14. Sorcerer
15. Beauty And The Beast
16. Smile At You
17. Stand Back

First Encore:
Gold Dust Woman
Edge Of Seventeen

Final Encore:
Storm
Long Distance Winner

There...now that would be a dream. lol
